**Hello my dears,**

Today I'm going to share with you an experience I had in *Egypt* a few years ago, namely a part of the whole trip I had to the place called the *Colossi of Memnon*.

We leave the hotel around 3:30 in the morning, we have the opportunity to see the sunrise on the way through the desert. 
As far as the eye could see, only sand and mountains.

Visiting this is only part of the main trip I made to the *Valley of the Kings*, I also wrote a blog about visiting the *Valley of the Kings* a few weeks ago.

We started this trip by bus being in an organized group, after a few hours of bus ride we arrived in the parking lot of this place near the *Colossi of Memnon.*
At first sight I was shocked to see where and how people live here, probably I am not used to such a life.

But when I saw these huge sculptures I forgot everything and I let myself go with the wind and I was very attentive to what the guide we had with us explained.
 
Indeed if you've never been to Egypt before when you come here the locals will seem a bit too pushy, but I can tell you from my own experience that you will overlook this.
After about an hour spent among these statues and lots of tourists our journey goes on, but today we stop here.
