Commodore 64 Fix-It Felix Conversion Announced
<em>Wreck It Ralph</em> was a decent success for Disney upon release, I know, understatement. It did spawn a game, but it was not by Disney or official for that matter. Fans took it upon themselves to create games based on characters from the movie. That is how we got a few independent homebrew developed titles called <em>Fix-It Felix</em>. There was an official mini arcade unit created too. Well, fans are back at it and this time the Commodore 64 is the target platform.

<h2>The Commodore 64 won’t die, thankfully</h2>
Some of us were gaming on the Commodore 64 back in the 80’s, maybe 90’s and more recently. While I was there for the early days, I have since not owned a C64 to game on. My gaming fix from those days is now limited to using emulators. While spot on for recreating the system, emulators just don’t have that “feel” you can only get from real hardware.

One reason the C64 has not died yet is fans. Considering it is a computer, it is open to program for. No license needed, no lockout chips to defeat. Simply download an emulator and you can code games – if you are good you can code without a Commodore 64, or emulator.
<h2>Fix-It Felix Jr. proves the Commodore 64 still has life</h2>
This port to the Commodore 64 is coming after a port last year reached another Commodore computer – the Amiga. <a href="http://www.indieretronews.com/2020/03/fix-it-felix-jr-on-commodore-c64-oh-yes.html">Indie Retro News</a> broke the news about this port after it was posted in the <a href="https://www.facebook.com/groups/commodoresixtyfour/permalink/10156671042077172/">Commodore 64/128 Facecbook group</a>.

Your job is to fix the windows of the building as Ralph throws stuff at you from the roof. You must not only avoid the objects falling your way but the birds that love flying back and forth interrupting your work.

Your repairs are going to take a few seconds, so timing is essential here.

This is an interesting port and it shows the Commodore 64 is still capable to play cool games.

If you want a copy of <em>Fix-It Felix Jr</em> for your C64 you are going to have to wait. There currently is no demo available. Keep your browser <a href="http://retrogamingmagazine.com/">pointed here</a> because when I know something you will too.
