2017 was arguably the best year for cryptocurrencies to date, but the question is no doubt on many trader's minds, "What kind of impact will 2018 have on the crypto world?"

From Bitcoin surging to heights close to **$20,000**, Ethereum nearly breaching **$1,000**, Litecoin well on its way to proving itself, and Ripple growing **300%** in just 12 months, it's expected 2018 will be just as exciting.

Out of all the cryptos, Ripple impressed me the most. Since the announcement of over 60 Japanese and Korean banks signing with Ripple, the price of XRP spiked drastically. Which leaves me with this thought: if Coinbase starts supporting Ripple's coin, how much of an impact will that have on XRP? I suppose only time will tell.
