There’s a turning point in life for everyone.

With birth, love, death… Something happens and your life changes forever. But that’s nothing to lament on. We all need these turning points. We all need an escape from our life’s route, at some point.Without this change, One would be stuck in a single instance of time. For example, if you would never fall in love with someone, you would never be able to feel that joy, excitement, enthusiasm. Or if you never live a pain like death or disease you would never understand how important your health or how much you need the love of the loved ones. And most important of all, time changes, so must we.

We all need turning points in life, but sometimes people have difficulties about getting used to these turning points. The first part of getting used to turning points is acceptance. Don’t mistake this acceptance as a defeat. If you accept that some things have to change at some point, it will be so much easier to get used to the changes. Start with little steps, that’ll help you to get used to changes. Because no matter how small they are, they do make a considerable difference in our lifestyle.

Lastly, and most important of all, the biggest turning point in life is changing your attitude. I think changing your mind about something is the hardest and the most compelling thing in this world. If you can accomplish this, you are one of the luckiest and strongest people in this world. Like the Gail Sheehy said,

“If we don’t change, we don’t grow. If we don’t grow, we aren’t really living.”
