Transformation is needed as we face a different time. In whatever careers or businesses, the awareness of needing transformation as well as having the ability to change is almost a must for the people today. 

What we are doing well and having good response from the clients does not guarantee that the trend will continue. Instead, we should be prepared for a transformation when things are moving quite smoothly and steadily. 

Hence, it is vital to ask the question as to how long can we use the present strategy and method to accomplish our decent goal. We should not wait until our strategy is obsolete and method not workable, only then do we consider a change. It is better to be farsighted and implement gradual change, so that the transformation is not deemed as a revolution. And normally most people are apprehensive of revolutionary approach. It is better to make changes that it is being perceived as natural. 

I love a story about moving a piano from one corner to the other. If we move it at once, the people who are used to where it is would become upset. It implies that now they have to change their sitting posture and adapt themselves to hear the music played from the piano from another corner. However, if it is moved gradually such as a few inches a day, over time it has been moved to another corner without causing a drastic reaction from the audience. 

Therefore, transformation is essential but it can be done tactfully.

我们如今做得好并得到客户的良好反应并不能保证这种趋势会持续下去。相反的，当事情顺利及稳定的发展时，我们就应该为转型做好准备。

所以我们需要探讨一个问题，即我们用来实现目标的策略和方法还能有效的使用多久呢？我们不应该等到现有策略过时和方法不再适用，我们才考虑改变。最好的是能有远见并尽早实行渐进式的变革，这样的转型就不会被视为革命，而通常大多数人都抗拒革命性的做法，最好的改变是被看作是自然的变化。

我喜欢将钢琴从一个角落移到另一个角落的故事。如果我们立即移动它，那些习惯了它在原来位置的人会感到不安。这也意味着现在他们必须改变坐姿并适应从另一个角落听發自钢琴的音乐。然而，如果逐渐的搬动它，例如每天几英寸，随着时间它会被移动到另一个角落，而也不会引起观众的太大反应。

转型是必须的，但它可以很技巧地加以完成。
