# Hello Steemit,

welcome to the weekly status report 42/2016 for the steemit.com exclusive **[PermaCryptoFolio experiment](https://steemit.com/money/@twinner/financial-freedom-lifelong-with-minimal-effort-introducing-the-permacryptofolio-system-a-public-trading-experiment-using-real)**.

Last week Bitcoin jump to 640 USD, and except for Ripple XRP all Altcoins fell.

Although all 3 PermaCryptoFolio portfolios are invested in Bitcoin, only the DORY portfolio profits from rising Bitcoin price. DORY and FLIPPER portfolios lost due to the crash in the altcoin market.

All 3 portfolios lost last week compared to a pure Bitcoin investment (Flipper-Portfolio is normalized from 12 Bitcoin down to 1 Bitcoin for better comparison.)

Finally, a look at the relative performance of the Altcoins since the beginning of the PermaCryptoFolio experiment. Note that Augur REP replaced XEM.

# Withdraw all the funds out of the exchanges!
It is strongly recommended to withdraw all funds out of Cryptocurrency exchanges when not needed for trading there.
