When I took the photographs we were walking and my country woman mother-in-law told me that since I took that out in a photograph, I told her that I liked it and surely she didn't think anything good of me.

It could be that, being a city girl, the thistles call me more than the roses, they deceive with the beauty of it but the thorns hurt you just like the thistles.

Cuando realicé las fotografías estábamos paseando y mi suegra mujer de campo me dijo que como sacaba eso en una fotografía, le dije que me gustaba y seguro que no pensó nada bueno de mí.

Pude ser que al ser chica de ciudad me llamen más los cardos que las rosas, ellas engañan con su belleza pero las espinas te hieren igual que los cardos.

Investigating this plant I have discovered that it is eaten, they say that it resembles the artichoke, let me doubt it, but who am I to doubt it?

Investigando de esta planta he descubierto que se come, dicen que se parece a la alcachofa, permítanme dudarlo, ¿pero quien soy yo para dudarlo?
También tiene usos  medicinales y eso no lo dudo ya que las plantas son sabias y conocemos remedios ancestrales.

Cuando tenías tos hacían infusiones, o si esa herida no se curaba hacían cataplasmas.
Remedio casero contra la tos, las dolencias de vejiga y las heridas mal cicatrizadas.
También muchas más hasta estudiarlo para el cáncer.
