My name is Michael. I`m from Poland and I`m nearly 19yrs old. In this post i want to describe my city.

Łańcut, as the city first appears in 1381 in the location document of the village of Langenau issued in Łańcut by Otto Pilczy. The date of the city's location on the Magdeburg Law is related to the year 1349. This year there was a wooden church in Łańcut dedicated to Saint. Barbara and, according to church tradition, this date is connected with the beginning of the parish and the location of Łańcut - the granting of city rights by King Casimir the Great.


SPORT

Favourite sport in our city is basketball
Our team is doing really good specially when we don`t have much money to support them. They are playing in 1st league.
