What Energy Drinks actually does to your Body System
Its so hard nowaday's to find any Supermarket that has no Energy Drink in Stock. These genre of stimulants have been making waves recently. The intended purpose of taking energy Drinks is to energize you whenever you need a stimulant to get going with your job. In order to achieve this, the manufacturers of this drink made it up of Caffeine and Sugar.

According to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), the amount of caffeine in a can  of energy drink can range from 80 mg to over 500 mg. For better comparison and understanding, one 5-ounce cup of coffee contains around 100 mg of caffeine. Which means that a can of energy drink is equivalent to drinking 5 cups of coffee. 
Would you really want to do that on a Normal Day to get going ??
Some Energy Drink producing companies tend to recently reduce the Caffeine level in their drinks to replace it with plant stimulants which ranges from Guarana and Ginseng.

Exposing yourself to such stimulant can cause an irregular heartbeat, and that can lead to a heart attack with death been the end result. Once caffeine enters the bloodstream, within 10 minutes of consuming an energy drink, it triggers a rise in heart rate and blood pressure making you active.

- It causes Heart Palpitations. Palpitation is a noticeably rapid, strong, or irregular heartbeat due to agitation or  exertion.
- Causes Strain on your Heart,Blood Vessels,and Kidneys increasing your chances of Cardiovascular and Renal Conditions.
- Raises Sugar in your Blood Glucose levels, causing your Pancreas to release Insulin. 
- Causes Nausea and vomiting due to excessive amounts of caffeine in your bloodstream
- Increase in weight gain, and this comes with an increased risk of weight related medical conditions such high blood pressure and diabetes type 2.
- Addiction to Caffeine causes Rot Teeth. 
- Over time you may start to experience withdrawal symptoms such as headaches or anxiety.

Lately, it has been discovered that high levels of caffeine have been implicated in late miscarriages, stillbirths and low birth-weight babies, which means Stimulants such as energy drinks should be avoided during gestation periods.

Scientists claims that individuals who consume energy drinks regularly may experience caffeine withdrawal in the 12-24 hours after consumption, which includes symptoms such as headache, irritability and constipation. And sometimes, it could be more than that depending on the caffeine level which has been consumed into the body system.

The common trend is the mixing of Alcohol and Energy Drinks which can be very injurious to the human health. Caffeine makes us stay awake and when once it is done with the intent of taking the stimulant,  it leads to a state of ‘awake drunkenness’ which may cause a worsening of a risk-taking and impulsive behavior. 


<h2>Benefit of Taking Energy Drinks</h2>

Once Caffeine is taken into the Body system, it stimulates the central nervous system. Once it reaches the brain you feel more alert and less tired, and this is the reason why most workers love to consume tons of it not knowing how it works on the body system. 


If taking Energy Drink is a necessity for you, it should be consumed moderately, you might get used to consuming more at a go than when you initially started to but putting consideration on one's sugar level is important when consuming it.
A can of energy drink is equivalent to taking at least 4 bars of chocolate with regards to it sugar level.
