Violence is everywhere in the world. It exists in many manifestations. Sometimes it is mild while sometimes severe, it's due to individual brawls sometimes due to nation wars and sometimes it's on a small scale and sometimes it extends to bigger territory.

**But what’s the cause of this violence? **

The separate studies of cases of violence will give us many case-specific causes but if we thoroughly go through all the violent events from individual to societal to national to international level, we will get to know the simple answer to this question. I.e **aggression**.It's the aggressive mindset of humans that resolves them to violence.

Let me present some arguments.

According to classic realism, humans are aggressive. They want to attain superiority over each other. They grudge each other and want to make their fellow beings subservient to them. This aggressive behavior is the reason behind violence because the use of power and manifestation of aggression results in violence. 

Being aggressive instinctively, people love seeing aggression as well. That is why action movies are more successful than other categories of movies because people love to see aggression and the use of force. Though the story ends with the victory of the hero that victory is celebrated due to the thrill created by the aggression from a villain.

It is due to the aggressive behavior of humans as well that even in the games which are a source of delight, rapprochement, diplomacy, and entertainment, violence occurs. Due to egoistic and aggressive behavior,  people cannot bear anyone else taking on them and their retaliation sometimes takes a very bloody shape.  

Along with this, daily news is also a source of depression and aggression. People’s opinions and responses to the use of force compel them to take action against anything they see on news channels. There are many cases where public figures were attacked just because through news they were portrayed as evil. Even news became the source of aggression but it was not news but aggression beneath them.

**So what’s the solution to it.?******

As I have mentioned violence is present in different forms and scales so it entails solutions according to its scale and nature.

On individual and societal levels, we can educate people to live in peace and harmony. Their interactions can be increased with each other to promote integration and tolerance. Meditation is an amazing spiritual treatment that heals us from many psychological and physiological ailments. So working on individuals' souls through meditation can also prove very useful.

Likewise, on national and international levels, meditative organizations can play a great role in removing violence. Such organizations act as arbitrators and strengthening them will be very key to maintaining peace across the world. Along with this alliances between nations can also contribute to deterrence because security alliances will prevent aggression against any country because that aggression will be retaliated from other security partners as well.

Human instincts cannot be terminated completely. We cannot remove the instincts of humans. Then, is violence uncontrollable? Will it always exist? Isn’t there any way to wipe it out completely? Well, my answer may disappoint you but it is what I believe after my deep observation and studies. 

**What’s my answer?**

I believe there is no way to completely wipe out violence. For centuries scholars, philanthropists, and peacemakers have tried to keep peace on earth and remove violence from it through individual teachings and international steps but nothing succeeded to deliver in as each day violence manifests different, evolved, and intense morphology. That's why violence will remain until humans are.
