I saw some people in chat,  @Mercatox, complaining that their BTC withdrawals were talking too long. I was a bit worried, I was already into them for a lot of dough, at least to me! LOL We're only talking some $1,700-ish, at least that's what it was when I liquidated my Poloniex holdings.  But my main nest-egg is safe here @STEEMIT  ;)   Long story short, I forged ahead, got set up with MEW and decided to try a withdraw.  Everything looking good, I was able to use and move the funds around inside the MERC Exchange just as advertised.  I even had an automated SELL  order going for 100 Satoshi per KIN, my average cost was 7.5 Sat and I figured a 13.3x Increase for no effort would be pretty sweet ;)  But with my luck, it would prolly jet right on past 100 and go to 1000 or sumthin' :D lol 

The MEW was pretty simple t set up, as far as crypto crap goes. It pays to know what the terms for wallets mean, it's so redundant to me, you have a password, private key, JSON files... lotta bullsh!t that overlaps and then there's the <b>Johnny Mnemonic Seed</b> (sorry Keanu ;) ) that is a string of random words:

So I got all that BS sorted out, saved, and backed up.  Next try the MERC withdraw... hmmm... NOPE! ABORT!!!

That is the friggin' internal system transfer, I put the External "test wallet" address into that, it prolly would have dumped my "coin" into the trash bin, where the MERC people collect it later, or so I thought at the time! lol   It should have, probably would have said "INVALID ADDRESS" but I do not test that sh!t with real money anymore.  Nope! (see GIF above :D )  So I set up an outside w/d and it informed me that I needed to do a minimum w/d of 50,000 KIN, PLUS a FEE of 10,000 KIN!!! WTF! I was going to send out "prizes" of 1,000 KIN Tokens in a contest, this was the "test case" and the stinkin' FEES were 10 times bigger than the PRIZE!

I'll have to do that there GAW with Paper Wallets, unless the external (non-exchange) fees and "GAS" are low enough that I can justify sending 1000 KIN.  So, all that aside, I finished my own MEW Wallet downloads and told my test wallet guy it was on hold (Sorry Nuri!) and just tried to send the whole mess to my own wallet... OK, looks fine.
Should I do it?  Everything checks out, triple checked the addresses, all good to go... insert the numbers, 1,338,057.27777780 KIN... oops, forgot to take out the 10,000 fees, nope, looks like they take it out of the send, that is the best way IMO! OK, do we Hit the Button???  BAM!   OH CRAP!! Big red banner, what did I do wrong? It is shaking back and forth... STOP SHAKING, Dammit! lol  OK, it says 'confirmation email sent' WHEW!!! Gotta go to emails real quick, there it is. Do I double check all these numbers, AGAIN? Nope, seat of the pants, hit CONFIRM... OK, dangit, better check all these stupid #'s again! Friggin Late Onset OCD lmao... OK it all checks. back to MERC: WTF??? It says not sent? 
oops, 2 windows open, that is the one before confirmation, check the new one... Transmitting... refresh the other, now they agree! So far so good, check the TX id string... ETH blockchain says it is Good to GO!! YAY!!! It's working, let's check the MEW... it says INCOMING! WOW!  hope that stupid 'custom token thingy' works...  OK, MERC says PAID? Already? That was MAYBE 5 minutes? Suspicious...  nothing in MEW GRRRrrr...  gotta set up Custom Tokens, Crypto Flower on youtube had some data... Needed the 'token contract address' (smart contract feature #) on ETH blockchain... hmmm, I don't wanna watch all this!!! Check uploader info, THANX FLOWER!! You ROCK! It's right there, copy-pasta that info... BAM! It took it, a few missteps in the MEW wallet, maybe I did not need that KIN was in the drop down menu... oh well, good exercise for me, I now know 2 ways of doing his, maybe someone will produce a new token and I can get those easier now...

I can now FULLY Endorse  Mercatox, here's a sign up link if anyone want to get on board to guy EARLY RELEASE and ICO tokens. Stan told me that they have most of these ICO and early release tokens like this but there are others. This worked out without any real snags from MERC, other than my own misunderstandings listed above.  Oh, da LINK!
