CHOSEN UNDEAD
https://i.imgur.com/D1yAaCz.png O **[Shieldbearer](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/untamed/Shieldbearer_lv4.png)** do oponente estava destinado a nunca morrer. 2. **O maior counter dessa composição seriam unidades mágicas https://i.imgur.com/RNldeLa.png**, pois ao ignorarem a armadura do Shieldbearer, tanto o resurrect quanto o repair seriam extremamente menos efetivos.
https://i.imgur.com/Xr0uWDt.gif
**ENGLISH VERSION** https://i.imgur.com/GM2F2Rc.png *(translate google)*
https://i.imgur.com/Xr0uWDt.gif
https://i.imgur.com/OtmgFKX.png
"Thou who art Undead, art chosen... The strange thing is when we find a Chosen Undead inside **[Splinterlands](https://splinterlands.com?ref=underlock)**, and that's exactly the experience I want to share with you today! https://images.hive.blog/0x0/https://i.imgur.com/a2pphso.png #
AN ORDINARY DAY...
https://i.imgur.com/Gsi4SDu.gif There I was walking towards another game of Splinterlands. My first days in the Gold league are promising and I'm managing to maintain an acceptable win rate for the cards I have access to. When starting a new game I came across the following rules: https://i.imgur.com/sRXFXPt.png They led me to assemble a composition of Fire, element in which I have the highest level units. The **Super Sneak** allowed me to pick units with great abilities but that couldn't hit from the back line, forming an extremely tough team with high damage. https://i.imgur.com/KhaLufs.png This composition targeted tank units with very high health to deal well with magic units, a high damage with the Tarsa summoner buff, plus some abilities to deal with physical units: https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/abilities/small/ability_retaliate.png + https://i.imgur.com/2rX9Vms.png + https://i.imgur.com/qgoXFmp.png + https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/abilities/small/ability_shield.png Despite being prepared to face physical and magical enemies, something completely unexpected happened. When showing my opponent's composition, I realized that he had created a **Chosen Undead**. The knight destined to be reborn again and again and again... https://i.imgur.com/R2rIt8K.gif https://images.hive.blog/0x0/https://i.imgur.com/a2pphso.png #
CHOSEN UNDEAD
https://i.imgur.com/D1yAaCz.png The opponent's **[Shieldbearer](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/untamed/Shieldbearer_lv4.png)** was destined to never die. In addition to the summoner, there were 4 other units focused entirely on supporting the Chosen Undead. The knight had a total of 7 skills focused on keeping him alive, and that's scary! ## https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/abilities/ability_resurrect.png 3 Resurrect https://i.imgur.com/cF07UBv.png 2 Repair https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/abilities/ability_heal.png 2 Heal https://i.imgur.com/JWKltZ1.png Some observations are important to make: - As the Shieldbearer has the ability **Taunt** https://i.imgur.com/a7FyfRN.png there was no other way to eliminate supports to avoid their effects, as all units would only attack the knight. - When revived, the unit returns with only 1 health, but its armor resurfaces fully filled, that is, after each resurrection the Shieldbearer had a survival of 1 + 5 armor. 1. When considering the cures and repairs, he was able to survive a huge amount of physical blows before he was killed again. 2. **The biggest counter of this composition would be magic units https://i.imgur.com/RNldeLa.png**, because by ignoring the Shieldbearer's armor, both resurrect and repair would be extremely less effective. Unfortunately I didn't have any mage on my team, so I was doomed to have to face the knight and take him down over and over again. And so the battle took place. https://images.hive.blog/0x0/https://i.imgur.com/a2pphso.png #
THE BATTLE
Even with the numerous heals and repairs, my damage was high enough to take out the Shieldbearer once per round. That is, I would need 4 rounds to finish him completely. However, the opponent had three magic units attacking, making most of my resistances useless. ###
First death!
https://i.imgur.com/LycjWFU.gif In the first round I managed to kill him without losing any units, but from the second the high damage from the mages started to damage my composition. ###
Second death!
https://i.imgur.com/Xtvd26h.gif The second Resurrect was spent, but by then my Magnor had already been dropped and the Forgotten One would be next. In the meantime, my units would still have to deal with one more resurrection and the constant healing and repairs. ###
Third death!
https://i.imgur.com/fn7PgN5.gif In Round 3 miraculously my Forgotten managed to remain standing and we took the last resurrection from the Bearer, now it only remained to kill him for good and then take care of his entire back line. ###
Fourth and final death!
https://i.imgur.com/DvqZ6Xr.gif Finally the Shieldbearer was taken down, but now two of my units had already been eliminated, leaving only a front line to try to hold back the magic damage. ###
One by one, they all fell...
https://i.imgur.com/sG2qPCV.gif To watch this full battle and see how these countless abilities were used to turn the Shieldbearer into a Chosen Undead, just **[CLICK HERE](https://splinterlands.com?p=battle&id=sl_530208b658ffdd3021c1c1064dcc0b67&ref=underlock)** ! https://images.hive.blog/0x0/https://i.imgur.com/a2pphso.png #
FINAL CONSIDERATIONS
Unfortunately the Molten Ogre was not able to withstand the magic damage, and so all my units were being eliminated one by one. It was certainly a huge stroke of bad luck this battle, because if I had some magic units, the opponent's resurrections wouldn't have been as effective. Also, the numerous physical resistance skills were useless. Had he chosen to use the **[Grum Flameblade](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/chaos/Grum%20Flameblade_lv2.png)** on the frontline, chances are he would have stayed alive for much longer time, not to mention the ability to eliminate Shieldbearer and receive the benefits of **Bloodlust** https://i.imgur.com/NkdHb8h.png whenever you do. But despite having lost that battle, it sure was a very pleasant feeling to relive the feelings of facing an undead that never dies! *(the phrase sounds strange, but anyone who plays or played Dark Souls will understand)* https://pa1.narvii.com/6448/14ecd0404552396be0c04801944c702c65e47ee8_hq.gif THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYONE'S ATTENTION AND UNTIL THE NEXT TIME! *(If possible, follow my profile to follow future posts, I promise you won't regret it 🤝*) [](https://peakd.com/@underlock)
