You are gentle and vulnerable 
You are not beautiful from your past
But you are adorable and selfless
Ready to be anything that you are made to be

In different situations you never resist
Your nature a marvel for all
How you sit at any shape to wait for the potter is too amazing to fathom
Though the potter moulds you wrongly you utter not a word

You trust the Potter enough to let him try out something new with you
You are patient enough to allow the Potter make corrections on you
You never judged him for not doing the right thing from beginning
You are all the same sweet to touch

Oh! That we may be the miry clay
The Master desire to mould us but we resist
We usually have our own ways for which the Potter must follow
If He doesn't follow our pattern we rebel

Our plans and self gratification has overwhelmed us
Even if we give the Master a little chance we check every second to evaluate His work
We are too full of what we know
What the Master knows looks too imperfect to us to accept

The Master our creator longs to create greatness out of us
But what we know won't let us allow Him
The way we want is not always His way
For His thoughts are higher than ours and we don't know and can't even fathom

Oh selfish self you are my limitation
My delays would be history if you haven't proved stubborn
I fight everyday to be free from your cruelty all to no avail
But the creator still wait patiently and He says COME.

Come let us reason together
For I'll not impose my will on you but we can discuss
We can have a common ground
Maybe I can convince you that I'm your creator and I know better than you do.

Come and I'll forgive and let go
I'll never remember your sins again
I'll never use your past against you
I'll never condemn you

I'll never expose you
I'll never stop loving you
I'll never forsake you
