I  would like to write today  about quantum computers. We have amazing abilities and possibilities with computers, and the INTERNET. From gaming communication and computer assisted problem solving. The device you are now reading this on is an combination of switches. Think light switches in various combinations of being on and off ones and zeroes'.  You can send an email, or write posts on Facebook to friends and family while sitting in your pajama's. This is bit based computing.

Another way to think about it is a coin with two sides.  Heads, and a tails this is how these little micro transistors are in the brain of your pc. The cpu  inside a quantum computer there are many stages of each qbit being in stages of on and off at the same time. Think of the coin being flipping and the side being both heads and tails at the same time.



One founder of D wave is Dr.Geordie Rose. He received his PhD at  University of British Columbia in theoretical physics. The D wave quantum computer is a next level of evolution in intelligent computers. We could use them for many things. Such as A.I., computer security, and curing cancer.  Teleportation through quantum entanglement may now be possible in the future. Lockheed and Martin uses them for next gen fighter jets.  NASA owns one for searching for extraterrestrial life. Google even owns one for developing artificial intelligence.

By entangling atoms we may someday be able to map out all the different dimensions that surround us. The computers one day in the distant future may even be available for home use. Think parallel dimensional computing. Doing things with a computer that may shape reality itself. Don't like the weather? Run a program and enjoy the environment you desire. This may sometime soon be possible through the use of quantum computing.




You might be thinking that this is science fiction. The truth of the mater these reality bending computers exist now and are being used! The rise for a need of such computers  is because of moors law. Moors law states that the number of transistors in a dense integrated circuit doubles approximately every two years. The moors law is actually an observation and not a physical law. (sorce https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moore%27s_law) With conventional computers we have several problems that arise. Heat being a major one when we task a cpu with many problems requiring power consumption damaging heat can arise and fry the chip even with liquid cooling the cpu brain can still fry.

The D wave wont be available for home use because of the tremendous cost think 15-20 million usd. However that doesn't mean we cant all benefit from it's use. We have all heard the comparing apples to oranges analogy well this is like comparing rocks to space craft. D wave isn't quite as powerful as to say produce an t bone steak from the click of a mouse but this could one day be a reality. We are in the birth stages of these thinking machines.

In a quantum computer cpu the temperatures have to be super cooled. This is done by zapping table salt to separate the sodium atoms into separate particles with a laser. Then radiating them which causes them to be colder then the coldest place on earth and even space.All of this while being contained in a magnetic vacuum.  The way these sodium particles act in super cooled magnetic vacuum is like having a maze where all possible routes are taken at the same time instantaneously so instead of one path till the solution it is all paths instantly solved.

I would love to know if one of these babies could mine for bitcoin. But the uses are staggering mapping the human genome not to mention manipulation of the genes that cause illness, old age, and time travel. Multidimensional exploration are just some of the vast possibilities. Please don't get me started with Cern and dark matter **Higgs boson** particle my mind is already blown just knowing these exist.
