Well most people rent houses these days or get a mortgage but owning a house is better because you don't need much to survive with let's say you own a house no mortgage or share you could have a terrible job and still survive because you still have a roof on top of your head and plus you don't need to worry about rent etc disadvantage of renting is that your landlord can kick you out anytime even with out a reasonable answer and put up rent anytime also can raise your rent if you damage they're property this is why I wouldn't rent a property
