## 13 LPUD Badges is no Joke!

Yesterday was the 13th Leo Power Up Day (LPUD) event with NFT badges attached. We had Four (4 ) in year 2022 starting from September. LPUD, marked on the 15th if every month, is  a day to measure the Leo community's trust in the future of the LEO project defined by the staking of their $LEO token, which makes the token temporary untradeable in the markets unless a power down is initiated . 

[Powering up 300 LEO](https://hiveblocks.com/tx/00900afeb4bce29e6cabc81185c0a78aa0a1307e) tokens to level up 17,500 LEO Power is a step bringing me closer to my my LEO staking goal in 2023. The next two LPUDs (for November and December) ill be huge strides to  hit the 20k Leo Power Mark while I advance to 50k in 2024.


## LEO has a BIG Future

Anyone having read and understood the [INLEO Mission](https://leofinance.io/@khaleelkazi/the-vision-of-inleo) as was presented by Khal a few days ago would take no chill about engaging socially and with assets that connect with the INLEO SocialFi project. We are anticipating a bulk of super features that would usher users into a new phase of LEO's sustainability and this would utilize users' commitment to the assets of the Leoverse such as Leo Power and Premium subscription.

Eric says there could be a secondary market for badges and I believe since INLEO is considering the NFTs feature in the near term. We should expect a lot of gamifications coming in and more. Definitely, every bit of LEO powered up asides giving the user influence for the sharing of rewards in the Leoverse, would become a big asset in the future with the badges in place.

## LEO NFTs will Have Numerous Utility
Elsewhere, I had mused about the collaboration between Hive communities and Splinterlands in the creation of Card NFTs and hosting of tournaments. I am sure that the revamped leadership of Splinterlands is in for this as was announced in a recent Splinterlands [Townhall AMA](https://leofinance.io/@splinterlands/splinterlands-town-square-october-2nd-2023).

INLEO is ripe place to model that collaboration. The maiden edition of the [LeoFinance Zealy Campaign](https://inleo.io/@leofinance/zealy-campaign-walkthrough-usd10-000-usd-200-000-hive-power-delegation-limited-edition-nfts-lp-delegations-and-more) did feature tasks such as artists and to create LEO related arts and I think that would be a good fit and representation in a Splinterlands character. I'm thinking of an INLEO Tournament in Splinterlands where only <b>LEO character cards or LPUD NFT cards can be used</b>. Such tweaks would mean a lot for LEO NFTs.

There are NFT marketplaces on Hive and collaborations with such could be a booster for LEO NFTs. I'm not taking a chill about the developments in Leo the possibilities in the future. 


Beyond the integration of NFTs INLEO, powering up LEO would also position users to have a voice in Leo Decision making when the [LEO DAO](https://inleo.io/@uyobong/the-imperative-need-for-a-leo-dao-towards-onboarding-institutions-and-more-communities) rolls out. I see a future where multiple developers joins LEO and creates unique products and with Unique usecases but instead of creating a new token to power it, utilize $LEO for such. That would surge the demand for LEO as usecases get to grow.

The benefits users stand to gain as influence grows within the Leoverse is massive because this is a future looking community on Hive blockchain and with the bridges to Ethereum, Polygon and Binance Smart Chain, as well as other blockchains to come, one can imagine the value that can be drawn within the growing LEOVERSE.

## Things will flip before December 2023...
The last quarter of the year has always been a LEO season. I remember vividly what happened in 2020. By the end of the month and early November when the "classified" features are unveiled on LEO, it would be thrilling to know what this community is up to.

You can power up $LEO any pother day of the week if you missed LPUD. It all counts in and the output of that investment is quite huge beyond what we can imagine.
