## Reflections from Thrill and Grill

After yesterday's [Shill and Grill Threadcast](https://leofinance.io/threads/view/anomadsoul/re-leothreads-2nw9hcxsq), I reflected that it is important that we go on the drawing board to redesign how we pitch LEO for different class of persons. When it was time for Eric to present INLEO in the [Shill and Grill X Space](https://twitter.com/tolibear_/status/1711809806615400808),  I could feel the sudden calm and loss of aptitude on all that were earlier buzzy in the X Space session. Within seconds, Eric had summarized INLEO with all the sophisticated features that I thought should have drawn an ovation, but the contrary happened. They were supposed to be happy and eager to learn but only that the innovation around INLEO and Hive is outside their scope of reasoning. 

It was obvious that most things that the X Space panel knew about Crypto is Bitcoin, Binance and NFTs and all they know about blockchain is Airdrop, gaming and DeFi, etc (my reasoning though). However, INLEO means more, No! INLEO means everything for every person. To the farmer, student, techie, art and photography lover, preacher, teacher, geologist, dancer, music expert, there is a fitting niche in-LEO.

Thankfully, we had a set of robust discussions bothering tis on Leo Discord where Khal, Eric, Edicted and others made awesome contributions. before I share m thoughts on how I would pitch INLEO to a noob, let's take a look at some of the questions/statements (paraphrased)  that were thrown at @anomadsoul and how it can help in the preparation of a pitch deck for a like set of people.

> Why are transactions and communication on Hive transparent?? 

Hive blockchain is truly featuring the true ideals of decentralization which calls for transparency. Every single transaction and activity performed on a Hive account from the date of creation can be traced and probed. This would be quite important in corporate governance where people expect transparency in engagements and transactions.

However, there is a place for encrypted memo (where the user can use the memo key for private messages but the amount transferred and recipients can be traced. It sucks when I hear some corrupt government tag that crypto and blockchain would make people steal the more, Not with INLEO and Hive.

The engagement on the very [Shill and Grill Threadcast](https://leofinance.io/threads/view/anomadsoul/re-leothreads-2nw9hcxsq) is the evidence of the strength of INLEO's user activity. Incredible, no such interactions on any X Space I've attended so far. Many feel that the giant web2 platforms cannot be challenge. However, though INLEO is not out there to challenge, the value proposition is puts forward is an evidence of how powerful this platform can be on the long run. 

The [Vision of INLEO](https://inleo.io/@khaleelkazi/the-vision-of-inleo) as revealed by @khaleelkazi has given us a peek of the future which has a sustainable blueprint. Users own INLEO. Every development and initiative is toward the welfare and good experience of the users. The platform is not making money at the expense of the users. The creators who drive value to the platform are the ones that are having a fair share of the generated revenue. 

 ## Pitching INLEO to My Grandma
With the above discussions. we can agree that many are ignorant of the possibilities that abound in web3 and that a non-popular platform like INLEO on Hive can offer such value. This can be sorted when we define our pitch to scale for the professional and to the lay man. Remember, everyone has a place on here.

For me, I'm thinking of how I can pitch INLEO to a total noob, an average social media user that understand nothing about crypto, my grandma, etc. Besides, we are seeking institutions to join web3 via INLEO and our pitch deck should be rich enough to convince them that INLEO is the place they should be without an iota of complexity.

<em>Grannny, INLEO is a modern digital community where people gossip, share their thoughts, stories, and hobbies and they earn money for doing so. Others talk about farm produce, market, motherhood, parenting and they earn money too. Others share their photographs, food recipes, craft and other skills expression and get appreciated with money. Others talk about their plans for the future and their children and they earn some money to cover part of the budget. Some are just there to learn and ask questions about anything and they earn money for being taught. Every participant wins.</em>
