### <center>_"Inactivity is the Worst enemy of Success; do something no matter how tiny, growth must have a reference point"_ - @Uyobong</center>

I've been following the activities of TEDx for the past few years through a Pastor friend _Bryce Edem_, who anchors the program. The motivational and brainstorming meeting is always characterised with deep thoughts in words capable of getting anyone on his feet to work.

The quote in the banner picture is one of those that inspires me and more interestingly, when I can link it to a scriptural teaching or command. Many people are so afraid to fall in their pursuit of a dream that they ended up doing nothing with their lives. Many keep siting and enjoy the pity of others in their helpless situations and making excuses to remain there. Soon the realize they became _monuments_ with blood flowing through within - what a waste?

I remember when I finished the University and completed my compulsory National Youth Service to Nigeria about 9 years ago. To general understanding of everyone was that there's no job, true their sayings but this was dependent on the perspective of who said it. I kept telling myself, you'll employ others despite the economic situation and I decided to take a leap and started my _Creativity Hub_.

Long story cut short, a year later, the outfit that started out with just a laptop was worth over $1000 in asset and ever since, we kept growing.

I remember the biblical story in Deuteronomy 1: 6-8 when the children of Israel because if fear had resolved not to move any further. God called out to Moses and charged them to rise and take steps. In the obedience and moving out, God took them to the place of the promise, a land flowing with milk and honey. Let's take a read of the passage quoted from the Easy to Read Version of the Bible.

> _6 “The Lord our God said to us in Horeb, ‘You have stayed long enough at this mountain._

> _7 Turn and take your journey, and go to the hill country of the Amorites and to all their neighbors in the Arabah, in the hill country and in the lowland and in the Negeb and by the seacoast, the land of the Canaanites, and Lebanon, as far as the great river, the river Euphrates._

> _8 See, I have set the land before you. Go in and take possession of the land that the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give to them and to their offspring after them._

As you read this blog, I do not care the situations that are informing your continuous stay in a particular location. God is saying to you move. Get inspired by my story and take a leap. Growth must always have a reference point. Failure to take a step would result into monumental failure.

Start something today, do not inflict yourself and become crippled by inactivity.
