Life is in phases and each time we get to the end of the phase, there is always a glitch which requires more energy to scale into the next phase. Many usually get so scared when they come to this point and others even give up.

Every phase of our lives open into another with a unique boundary line that must be crossed. At the boundary, this is where we get ourselves quipped for the next phase and new sets of responsibilities. It applied in every sphere of life - faith, education, business, career and many more.

I was reflecting on the book which cover is used above written by a Nigerian born fire-branded evangelist _Emma Isong._ The book is a call to the believer to gird up his loins to do the unusual. There are grounds to be covered and there are innovations to be broken. Yes believer is best suited for such as the holy Spirit's seal is an oil for creativity.

Sad, that there are many that have given up hope and even lost faith because they paddled to a boundary line which needed a leap to the next, rather, the saw it as a permanent limitation.

We need a new energy each time we have to start off a new lap of life's journey. This is why Jesus told us that we can't pour a new wine into an old skin as recorded in Mark 2: 22 (KJV):
> _And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles._

Every boundary should be seen as a starting point for another phase of walk and one must be deliberate to re-strategize. Old methods won't always work when we resume new things. We must endeavor to purge ourselves of the old mentality and get our minds renewed for the new walk.

Sometimes, our experience is not sufficient to inform our decision for the next level, we therefore need mentors whose stories can be of great lessons to us. Bible says that _"there is safety in the place of counsel"_. Sound counsel is a blessing receivable from mentors.

#### _I remember the terrible investment mistake I made in 2014, I lost over $1000 in my first investment attempt because I lacked counsel. I onboarded the business flight without having a guide or someone I could talk to. I learnt my lessons but they were painful. I don't want to see any younger person go through such trauma I went through which almost wrecked my faith._

While brainstorming on the above, I remembered @nextgen622's recent call to share what we feel God is teaching it challenging us to do recently. Mine is to raise the enterprising and creative believer. This has been an age long burden which God each day opense up for learning and furnishing. I will share more details soonest.

As it connects to this blog, we all need mentors and those who will gladly offer us their shoulders to stand each time we get to a seeming limiting line. Many have crossed the line and are on the Grand stand watching. The boundary line is not a place for tears, rather it's a place where God would open our eyes to see the well of water even in the desert.

### I pray God leads us to the right mentors - Amen!
