With increased attention directed towards the properties of Imran Awan I thought I’d take a closer look at one of the Virginia homes he’s closely associated with. The Thomas Drive home in Springfield is an important piece in understanding the Awan case.

The address is the location to have reports surface over a domestic disturbance involving S. Gilani (wife of Muhammad Shah), who is believed to be Imran Awan’s step-mother, was the first report made on the subject of the Awans by The Daily Caller’s Luke Rosiak.

A police report made of the incident occurring on January 5th 2017, provides important details about the character of Imran Awan, the former IT staffer for DWS.

In addition, Abid Awan another Awan that works in IT for the US congress has been tied to the address. The address appears in the 2017 police report concerning the domestic dispute involving the step-mother Gilani and in his 2012 bankruptcy filing, Abid Awan indicates Thomas Drive as one of two residences.

A former tenant who rented the Sprayer St., Alexandria, property from Imran disclosed several pieces of information regarding the property. As we know, Imran used his IT skills to conduct surveillance on his own step mother by bugging Gilani’s phone and by implanting devices in the Thomas Dr. home. 

There’s some speculation that Imran been involved in the hacking of Laurel Everly’s phone and possible her laptop as well (which went missing for several days until it reappeared on her bed).

Another piece of information revealed by Mrs. Everly is that there were two sheds at the Sprayer address that were always locked and off limits to the tenants. 

Laurel described how she raised the issue with Imran about the shed attached to the side of the car port. She was concerned about the light always staying on in the car port as well as a light coming from the locked shed that was always on and she's the one who's paying the electrical bill. Imran told her not to worry about that, it was a light connected to a fan to help cool the items that were held in storage in the shed.

This piece of information has led many to speculate that the shed attached to the carport was possibly housing the external server that Awan is suspected of using to collect information from congress.

Adding more fuel to the fire is a seemingly innocuous video made by Laurel of her children skateboarding in the basement. Members of Crowd Source the Truth zeroed in on a Cox cable internet router and cable splitter coming out of the wall.

## Thomas Drive Springfield


The Sprayer street address is not the only Awan property with a shed, the Thomas Drive address also has a structure in the backyard. Perhaps calling this structure a shed may not be entirely accurate as it appears to be quite large and could very well be living quarters or some kind of a cottage.

What’s interesting about this structure is that it has 2 satellite dishes mounted on the roof. There's also a second shed, perhaps a wood shed, along the fence. Also, the Google-maps street view photos were taken in 2012 and at the time Imran's step-mother S. Gilani likely lived at the property. Abid Awan also recorded the home in his 2012 bankruptcy filing.

Of course, having 1 or 2 satellite dishes at a home is completely common and does not prove anything. Yet, considering the M.O. of Imran Awan, it could be something worth investigating. In the same way that the discovery of the Cox cable router came from a seemingly unimportant video, I'm posting this just in case. I have to admit though, it's probably less likely that Imran stored hacked government data at his family's address as the Sprayer rental property is a more suitable location for something of this nature.
