<h1>Censorship Bye Bye !!!</h1>
<p>Why is the Interplanetary File System so cool ?  Coz it runs from your computer to a distributed global node network (or your vps) and you can publish anything you like and its all web addressable , you dont even need a domian name , you can borrow the networks (http://gateway.ipfs.io/ipfs/yourstuffyhere) , so if you want to post that video YT would never allow , this is it !  You can put video's, pictures . websites , sound , docs , applications , whatever onto ipfs and there it is , anyone who has it downloaded can share you stuffys , it's like torrents on steroids !!!<p>

<p>But really it's much more than that , files are content addressed , why is this amazing you ask ? Well imagine your govt started blocking a URL a Domain or even come server got fried (or wacked)and now you have to wait while it all gets reposted and the search for it and so on , with content addressing if you view it you store it on your ipfs node it save it there by default, so unless you purposely delete it it's there , in a ziliion other potential nodes too  , is just a number addressed file and if that number(hash) exists anywhere on the network you can have it , It also solves a lot of bandwidth issues  because instead of going to the net for your content it may be on your buddies machine next door so latency and bandwidth issues are solved.. really cool , no disappearing urls and no stuttering video's I'm up for that !! Oh and no governments and religious nuts burning books and banning freedom of speech ! Major Bonus !!</p>

 IPFS content is stored in blocks , as we all know this stuff works with the blockchain , so if a zillion different blockchains have your ipfs content address's , you're golden !!!</p>
<p>A few videos and a few hours work and you will be up and running publishing the WEB 3.0 and sticking it to the googles and the facebooks , ENJOY !!!</p>

<p>I've been playing with IPFS on the centos 7 VPS all day and well , it runs and crashes , anyway . Got the Web Ui to sort of work and  did download a file from the network . so we're good there , Im trying to figure out how to get it to work in some knd of robust usable fashion , any ideas ? </p>

<p>Take a few minutes to watch the video , even if you're not a unix weenie , there are Osx and windows versions , this is how things will be done from now on on the web , so gone are the days of server down , unreachable , no seeds ect !! , the distributed web is here !!!</p>
