I'm here now for some serious and fun action! League of Legends is the name! ๐ Some call it *Multiplayer Online Battle Arena* (MOBA) and some call it *Action RTS* (Real-time Strategy). But I want to call it MOBRTSA (*Multiplayer Online Battle Real-time Strategy Arena*). That's what I want to call it personally. This is a complex game where strategies and techniques differs from champion to champion, nexus to nexus, lane to lane and time to time. There two things I want to consider in this blog but I want to break this into two blogs to focus on one. # What is Micromanagement Micromanagement is a kind of information decoding between two teams. It simply covers up the enemy champions, map construction, minions, camps, and towers within your vicinity. It always comes in when you're in a one on one or two on two situation. .jpeg) Image Source: Dot Esports
โข **Enemy Champion** - Every champion has its capacity to contribute in every game. Where ever lane you are, every champion has its pros. Every champion encounter, a fight can break out. It is called *trading*. In micromanaging, you control and make **every** trade to your advantage. There are two things to consider: minion kill and skill cooldown. When your enemy goes for minion kill, it is the perfect time to joust in and trade. Why? First, him or her auto attack is on cooldown. All they can do to you is use skill back to you. So, you're ahead of auto attack. Next, when their skill is on cooldown. I'm a 100% sure that you'll win trades if their skill is on cooldown unless they are ahead of level or in more numbers. .png) Image Source: League of Legends Wikia
โข **Map Construction** - Here comes another mechanic. The *Flash* mechanic. This mechanic always applies in every part of the map. When escaping or chasing, it is the best tool. There are two famous things you can do with flash: wall flash and juke flash. Wall flash is when you flash through the walls. Flash ungaps short distances only so sometimes you may fail. But it is a great way to escape or chase enemies. Juke flash is only for escaping. It is where you use flash but faking where you used flash. For example, you walk beside a wall and flashes towards the brush. It looks like you wall flashed but you really didn't. You just flashed to a brush beside you. Sounds crazy, right? .png) Image Source: League of Legends Wikia
โข **Minions** - Minion wave management comes in this part. There are 3 types: slow push, fast push/shoving and freeze. Slow push is some what defined as killing caster minions first then last hit melee minions. Why? Caster minions deal more damage than melee minions and melee minions are tougher than caster minion. When you kill the caster minions, all that will happen is that you minions will stay longer because of the melee minions than killing melee minions first. Fast push/shoving on the other hand is the opposite. You kill the melee minions first then last hit the caster minions. This way, faster pushing of minions will be attained. Lastly, the most annoying wave management on top laners, freezing. Freezing is where you let the minions fight at a specific place and make the minions stay there. When you are being froze against, you most likely lose minion last hits. This makes you behind on gold and is most likely to fail ganks. .jpeg) Image Source: League of Legends Wikia
.jpeg) Image Source: Deviant Art
โข **Camps and Towers** - These things are naturally there when playing. You should be aware of those things. When tower diving, you should estimate the tower's damage. Also, camps can be used to gap enemy jungler and escape from fights (e.g. Lee Sin, Jax) That's it for now! Thank you so much for stopping by! There will be a part two of this blog.
