Flagging: the biggest problem of Steemit?

### Freemarket censorship?

Steemit is not centrally controlled, but users do not hold equal voting power, therefore users with a lot of SP can self upvote for profit ( one of the reasons I got on here: I rather "pay" SP for being trending, than pay money for ads) or can flag smaller users in to oblivion...
I had a similar experience when a communist (!) with 60k+ SP down voted a post denouncing communism. That cost me 1 point in reputation! I think flagging is a powerful weapon that should not be abused!

### What do I flag?
Only stolen content. If it is not original, you should not post it. If there is stuff I disagree with, I post a snarky comment and upvote that and not their post: it is being disrespectful without ruining their reputation! Also creates space for debate, instead of silencing them by flagging the post.
Even if I disagree with someone, it does not mean they deserve a lower rep!

What do you think? Do you even flag? And if so, when and what?
