So almost an other year has passed and that is a good excuse to take stock, see where I am and make plans for the future. Also, it is winter and therefore I am overall less active, so it is a good time to get some future planning done.I will list and explain all the plans for generating more income I have for the coming year. Unintentionally, it turned out I put them in order of increasing effort...

## *steemit*

I find it hard to blog regularly. I have a small amount of steempower delegated, might increase that again. I might have missed the boat on making massive gains, but I have still hopes of STEEM hitting $5 again. I am not going to power up anymore in the foreseeable future. Although the new lows make it rather tempting...

## *giffgaff*

So giffgaff is a "*mobile virtual network provider*", which means they run a mobile network piggybacked on a bigger network, in this case O2 UK. The interesting facts are the ways you can make money with them!
* **No help desk**: instead of minum waged paid people in a call center, giffgaff relies on its members to help each other! You get paid for your help and since I have been with them the last 3 years, I made about 200£ of profit!

* **Little advertising**: giffgaff does not have a big budget for advertising, but instead depends on members to share the sim cards and spread the word. It usually is dribs and drabs, but [some guy made 160K](http://www.telegraph.co.uk/money/consumer-affairs/i-made-160000-by-giving-out-sim-cards/) with this program!

* **Payout through PayPal**: no hassles for international payments. Payout dates are June and December.

Now almost four (time really does fly!) years ago I got a photo book and some cards printed. It cost me about 750 Euros. I have sold several books and some cards and gave a lot away as presents. I still have a large amount and I am trying to find ways to sell them. At this point *getting noticed* is more important than making a profit. I have a [webshop](https://vander.bigcartel.com/product/photos-i-took) and I think only @sloe visited it... I might do some creative markets and fairs, but the one I did in the past did not made me any money, gave me an opportunity to buy some odd and wonderful local beer though!

Not only is self sufficiency high on my long term agenda, growing your own food can be an inexpensive source of healthy and fresh greens. I hope to be more productive and plan better than last year. Like with so many things proper planning decreases stress and improves outcome.
