God loves us and wants the  best for us, as seen in the book of Genesis 2:17,  he  told man to eat of every fruits of the trees in the garden of eden except for the  fruit of knowledge; for when man eats  of  this fruit, man will die indicating man will have to leave  with consequences of his actions. So in obedience to God, we submit to God and he has control over our fate, but in disobedience, in other words putting our fate I our own hands we have  to accept the  consequences.
