Hello!


It’s been a slow morning easing into afternoon as I listen to one of my favourite podcasts and draw. Earlier, my little brother walked past my desk and tossed out one of his usual comments. I rolled my eyes at the time, but thirty minutes later, I had to admit—he was absolutely right. This is my idea of fun: drawing portraits again.

I think I was reminiscing about the COVID lockdown era—2019 into 2020. Back then, going out all covered up came with the very convenient excuse to avoid interactions. Hard to believe that’s five years ago now. That’s walking, talking toddlers who hadn’t even been born in 2020.
