I’ve spent the past year getting to know the human face and now I want to improve in other areas too! </p> <p><img src="https://i.imgur.com/o028oQj.jpg"/></p> <p>My plan for the night was to start drawing a super-villain for @kommienezuspadt’s <a href="https://steemit.com/trialbycomics/@kommienezuspadt/trial-by-comics-winner-for-superheroes-week-and-next-theme-announced">Trial by Comics</a> but I ended up taking a break from it after several failed attempts. I'll try again another day. I wanted to sketch my villain in an awesome action pose but felt extremely intimidated. Why are these characters so muscular??? 😩It’s like they know my weakness in anatomy... </p> <p><center>https://i.imgur.com/tznhom0.gif</center></p> <p>I started to sketch again after a few moments of self reflection. I need to practice so that's exactly what I'm going to do. I pulled up a few images of action poses and started to do some warm up drawings. I eventually got bored so I decided to switch my pencil color to purple and this sketch kind of happened. I’ve included a short hyperlapse video below. </p> <p>https://youtu.be/VbxG3GxoPa8</p> <p>I enjoyed this sketch so much that I came up with a new concept for a series of sketches that I want to create. The idea is to produce a series of sketches that will leave you curious about the story behind the image. I’ll be tuning in my skills with expression and gradually learning new skills along the way. </p> <p>I also want to call on all the <b>brilliant writers</b> and invite you all to writing short stories to go along with these images.
