<p>Usually when I decide to watch a series, it's about crime or investigation, perhaps because I find it very interesting to see how little by little everything takes shape and the net closes in, but there are series that leave you reflecting beyond the crime itself, or even make you empathize with the criminals, or simply lead you to question who the real criminals are in the story, or even who or what led them to such an end. Today, I've prepared a list of three series that I consider essential in this genre. I invite you to join me in reviewing them.

>Usualmente cuando decido ver una serie son sobre crímenes o investigación, tal vez porque me resulta muy interesante ver como poco a poco todo va tomando forma y el cerco se va cerrando, pero hay series que te dejan reflexionando más allá del crimen en sí, o bien te hacen hasta empatizar con los criminales, o de plano te llevan a cuestionarte quienes son los verdaderos criminales en la historia, siquiera quien o qué los condujo a tal fin. Para el día de hoy preparé un top con tres series que considero infaltables en este genero, les pido que me acompañen a revisarlas.</p></div>

<center><h1>La Casa de Papel (Money Heist)</h1></center>

<p>I never thought I would like this series so much. In fact, I never wanted to watch it at the time, when everyone was watching it and talking about it. I don't know, it just didn't appeal to me. I thought it was just about a gang of thieves who broke into a bank or the mint one day, and that was it. But when I started watching it and analyzing it, I enjoyed it a lot, because it obviously involves an investigation process, but in this case, they not only show you the police process, but also the meticulous work of the criminals, everything behind a robbery of that magnitude, the preparation and the work. Above all, it leads us to analyze several points: Why do they commit such a robbery? What is their goal? But especially, it makes you wonder, who is the villain of the story? Who is really cruel? Or even who could be considered the real thieves in the story? The plot twists, the surprises, the realism of the scenes, the brilliant performances, and the questioning of morality make this series a real gem, at least from my point of view.</p></div>

>Nunca pensé que llegaría a gustarme tanto esta serie, de hecho nunca quise verla en su momento, cuando todo el mundo la veía y hablaba de ello, no sé, simplemente no me llamaba la atención, solo creía que era una banda de ladrones que un día irrumpió en un banco o en la casa de la moneda y ya, pero cuando me puse a verla y a analizarla la disfruté muchísimo, porque obviamente implica un proceso de investigación, pero en este caso no solo te muestran el proceso policial, sino el minucioso trabajo de los criminales, todo lo que hay detrás de un robo de esa magnitud, la preparación y el trabajo, pero sobre todo nos lleva a analizar varios puntos: Por qué cometen semejante robo, que objetivo persiguen, pero en especial hace que te preguntes ¿Quién es el malo de la historia? ¿Quién es realmente cruel? o incluso ¿Quién o quienes podrían considerarse los verdaderos ladrones en la historia? Los giros de trama, las sorpresas, el realismo de las escenas, las actuaciones brillantes y el cuestionamiento de la moralidad hacen de esta serie una verdadera joya, al menos desde mi punto de vista.

<center><h1>C.S.I Miami</h1></center>

<p>Regardless of whether this series is old or not, for me it will always be the investigative series par excellence. Horatio Caine, with his apparent coldness, leads us through an investigative maze that includes interviews, analysis, and the best technology available at the time. In fact, what caught my attention the most, and still does, are the scenes that recreated the crimes and the camera shots that sometimes even simulated bullet impacts so that the audience could follow the trajectory and have a better context. In another sense, I am also struck by the connection between Horatio and the victims. The truth is that his is a very complex character about whom there seem to be many shadows. He is surrounded by an aura of mystery, but in reality, he is very human. What particularly strikes me about this series are the scientific analyses that are carried out, the way in which science can unravel any mystery, bring to light any substance that could be key to solving a crime, and how, in most cases, the corpse can tell its own story through its wounds or signs of resistance.</p></div>

>Sin importar si esta serie es antigua o no para mi siempre será la serie de investigación por excelencia, Horacio Cane, con su aparente frialdad nos conduce por un laberinto investigativo que incluye entrevistas, análisis y la mejor tecnología para ese entonces, de hecho lo que más me llamaba la atención y aún lo hace, son las escenas que recreaban los crímenes y los planos de cámara que a veces hasta simulaban impactos de bala para que la audiencia pudiera seguir la trayectoria y tener un mejor contexto. En otro sentido también me llama la atención la conexión que había entre Horacio y las victimas. La verdad es que el suyo es un personaje muy complejo sobre el cuál parece haber muchas sombras, lo envuelve un aura de misterio pero en realidad es muy humano. En especial lo que más me llama la atención de esta serie son los análisis científicos que se llevan a cabo, la manera en que la ciencia puede desentrañar cualquier misterio, sacar a la luz cualquier sustancia que pudiera resultar clave para resolver un crimen, y como la mayoría de las veces el cadáver, puede contar su propia historia a través de sus heridas o signos de resistencia.

<center><h1>Adolescence</h1></center>

<p>This series surprised me greatly in every way. It is not a typical investigative series; in fact, from the beginning, the police are very clear about who committed the crime and get straight to the point. The point is to try to analyze what led the murderer to commit such an atrocity, and in particular, it makes us reflect on the times we currently live in, how dangerous the environments in which our children operate are, and to what extent the lack of attention or interest on the part of parents and/or institutions can make the difference between committing an act or not.</p></div>

>Esta serie me sorprendió muchísimo en todos los sentidos, no es una típica serie de investigación, de hecho desde el inicio la policía tiene muy claro quién cometió el crimen y van al grano, el punto es tratar de analizar que condujo al asesino a cometer tal atrocidad y en especial nos hace reflexionar acerca de los tiempos que vivimos actualmente, que tan peligrosos son los entornos en los cuales se desenvuelven nuestros hijos y hasta que punto la poca atención o interés por parte de los padres y/o instituciones puede marcar la diferencia entre cometer una acción o no.

<p>The particular way in which it was filmed (in a single take) gives it a more realistic and human approach, in my opinion. It makes us feel part of the plot and allows us to get to know the characters better, understand the importance of knowing your children, speaking their language, getting to know their circle of friends, providing affection and trust, and especially understanding that there is a whole universe out there in which good and bad people coexist equally. Your teenage child is not necessarily good or bad, but rather a being in the process of formation, extremely vulnerable, whose personality is at the mercy of their environment. That is why it is so important to monitor them and get to know them in depth, because guidance is the fundamental key to raising teenagers. Times change, it is true, but parenting should always be marked by attention and respect.</p></div>

>La manera particular en la que fue filmada (en una sola toma) en mi opinión le da un enfoque más realista y humano, hace que nos sintamos parte de la trama y nos permite conocer mejor a los personajes, entender la importancia de conocer a tus hijos, manejar sus mismos términos, conocer su circulo de amistades, brindar afecto y confianza y en especial entender que allá afuera hay todo un universo en el cuál coexisten buenas y malas personas por igual, que tu hijo adolescente no es obligatoriamente malo o bueno, sino un ser en proceso de formación, extremadamente vulnerable, cuya personalidad está a merced de su entorno y por eso es tan importante monitorearlo y conocerlo a profundidad, porque la orientación es la clave fundamental en la crianza de adolescentes, los tiempos cambian, es verdad, pero la crianza siempre debe estar marcada por la atención, el respeto.
