Seit einem Jahr ist der Goldpreis im Steigen und hat die 2000 Dollar Resistance überschritten. Dachte, dass dies bereits während Corona passieren wird, aber der Bullrun fing dann erst so richtig 2024 an.

Seit dem geht es praktisch nur noch bergauf. Gestern sogar kurzfristig auf über 3500 Dollar. Heute eine kleine Korrektur auf 3300.

Im 5-Jahre-Vergleich hat Gold damit unglaublich gut performed und mit der heutigen Korrektur etwa 92% zugelegt, S&P 500 kommt im selben Zeitraum auf 95%. Bitcoin auf über 1,169%.

Denke, dass Gold derzeit von dem Zollkrieg und der unberechenbaren amerikanischen Politik profitiert und Notenbanken nach Alternativen zu US-Dollar-Anleihen suchen und vermutlich auch massiv in Gold investieren.

Durchaus möglich, dass Gold noch weiter zulegt, aber es kann natürlich auch wieder zu einer größeren Korrektur nach der starken Rally kommen.

Langfristig denke ich, dass Gold gut performen wird, aber hinter Bitcoin und dem S&P 500 bleiben wird. Bitcoin könnte langfristig sogar die Marketcap von Gold überholen. Ist eine Art Generationenfrage meiner Meinung nach. Jüngere Investoren vertrauen und nutzen zunehmend Kryptowährungen, während ältere Inverstoren noch eisern an Gold als Krisenwährung festhalten.

The gold price has been rising for a year now and has exceeded the 2000 dollar resistance. I thought this would happen earlier, during corona, but the bull run didn't start until 2024.

Since then, it has been practically all uphill. Yesterday even briefly above 3500 dollars. Today a small correction to 3300.

In a 5-year comparison, gold has thus performed incredibly well and gained around 92% with today's correction, while the S&P 500 has gained 95% in the same period. Bitcoin to over 1,169%.

I think that gold is currently benefiting from the tariff war and the unpredictable US policy and that central banks are looking for alternatives to US dollar bonds and are probably also investing massively in gold.

It is quite possible that gold will continue to rise, but of course there could also be a major correction after the strong rally.

In the long term, I think that gold will perform very well, but will remain behind Bitcoin and the S&P 500. Bitcoin could even overtake gold's market cap in the long term. It's a kind of generational issue in my opinion. Younger investors are increasingly trusting and using cryptocurrencies, while older investors are still clinging to gold as a crisis currency.
