### GPT-4o

OpenAI hat eine neue verbessertes multimodale KI vorgestellt, mit der man mittels Spracheingabe chatten kann. Und die Antworten sind "flirtatious" (emotional, kokett, flirt-haft, flirty). Man könnte sagen, GPT hat jetzt einen "Emotionschip" bekommen 😂

Fand die Präsentation, dass zum Beispiel zwei KIs miteinander plaudern, auf den ersten Blick nicht so spektakulär eher creepy (wozu brauch ich das?), aber das Hauptfeature ist die Spracheingabe/ausgabe und dass die App auch Fotos und Videos verarbeiten kann.

Benchmark-mäßig ist es aber noch kein großer Sprung, GPT-5 lässt immer noch auf sich warten.

Die große Verbesserung ist aber das Sprachinterface und die Geschwindigkeit. GPT4-o antwortet fast in Echtzeit, zumindest in den Demos. Bin gespannt, wie gut das in der Praxis mit Millionen Usern funktioniert.

### Keine GPT-4o Windows App?

Überraschend bietet OpenAI nur eine App für MacOS an, nicht für Windows, obwohl Microsoft Milliarden in OpenAI investiert hat. Das finde ich komisch. Andererseits denke ich, dass GPT-4o bald in Copilot integriert wird. Darauf würde ich sogar wetten. Vielleicht möchte Microsoft GPT-4o exklusiv für Windows anbieten.

OpenAI has unveiled a new improved multimodal AI that you can chat with using voice input. And the answers are "flirtatious" (emotional, flirty). You could say GPT has now got an "emotion chip" 😂

At first glance, I found the presentation of two AIs chatting with each other, for example, not so spectacular, rather creepy (why do I need that?), but the main feature is the voice input/output and that the app can also process photos and videos.

Benchmark-wise it's not such a big leap, everyone is still waiting for GPT-5.

The big improvement, however, is the voice interface and the speed. GPT4-o responds almost in real time, at least in the demos. It will be interesting to see how well this works in practice with millions of users.

### No GPT-4o Windows app?

Surprisingly, OpenAI only offers an app for MacOS, not for Windows, even though Microsoft has invested billions in OpenAI. I find that strange. On the other hand, I think GPT-4o will soon be integrated into Copilot. I would even bet on that. Maybe Microsoft wants to offer GPT-4o exclusively on Windows.
