At first glance I thought of Flote as just another Twitter like platform using cryptocurrency. They are still a young project. But   Flote is a lot more than just a social media.

# Raising 16,000,000 Euros of Funds
I don't know if any of this will be a success. They won't be open sourcing their algorithms or messaging platform. But the advantages of decentralized social media and trying to be a Patreon killer is still great.
