I have. Probably only once or twice, though. And I'm pretty sure that I had seen somebody do that in a movie. It helped though. I got rid of some frustration that had been built up over time. We hardly ever scream, at least I don't, but it's healthy to release our emotions instead of suppressing them. And, instead of directing this towards other people - either those close to us or complete strangers - the sea won't mind at all. The sea has no ego that can be hurt. It accepts us the way we are. Besides that, its waves and the wind kill the noise and we won't have to deal with anyone staring at us, like we're out of our mind. Today, I realized, after having shared some of the emotions that I am struggling with lately in my earlier post [All Work and no Play makes Vincent a Dull Boy](https://steemit.com/life/@vincentnijman/all-work-and-no-play-makes-vincent-a-dull-boy-can-i-be-a-forest-fish-please) , that Steemit might - at times - be an even better place than the sea. Believe me, I love the sea and I usually prefer being outdoor over spending time behind my keyboard. But, contrary to the sea, Steemit actually provides me with some answers and feedback. Thank you so much guys! After having written today's post, I had plenty of time to think. Also, having vented a little, I seemed to have created space for new ideas to enter my mind. And, as a bonus, I received some nice replies from a couple of Steemians that I consider friends. Eventually, only an hour or 5 after having felt kind of stuck, I had almost the opposite feeling. A handful of ideas and insights started to fill my brain and my emotion and energy switched from kind of low to pretty high. I guess, what I'm trying to say, is the following: > Whenever you feel down or stuck, express those feelings, don't try to ignore them - impossible - or keep it for yourself. That will only make things worse. A place like Steemit, is perfect for sharing your inner thoughts and feelings. Just get it off your chest and who knows, you might get some kind words or advice in return. And even if you don't, at least it relieves the pressure. ##### Free therapy with an added bonus: You get paid for it.
Oh, and before I forget... One of today's ideas - something that I've been walking around with for quite a while - is to finally start sharing some of my short films. I will start out with a film that takes place at the sea, made in 2010-11. Sea you all next time! ;>) Saludos, Vicente aka Forest Fish ###### The above picture is my inner creature, a forest fish, designed by the lovely @ryivhnn To read more about that, here's the full post, including a process video of the making of this beautiful image.

###### The photo of the sea was taken by me at the Dutch coast with an iPhone 6s, March 2017.
