This time of year I get very busy planting flowers and caladium bulbs!
Also this year I have planted tomatoes, peppers, strawberries, 2 blueberry bushes and a raspberry bush.
So, I'm not having much time to make posts!
___
I planted some in some pretty garden pots about a week ago!

These flowers are called Sweet Alyssum.
I always love to plant some in beautiful pots.
They bloom mainly in the spring for about 4-8 weeks depending on how soon we see days over 80 degrees F.
I have had them rebloom occasionly in the fall.
They are not a perennial, so I have to purchase new ones every year.
I just researched and found out some interesting info about SweetAlyssum -Lobularia maritima.
It is common on beaches and sandy dunes in some places in the world!
___
This plant is native to the Macaronesia region: (Canary Islands, Madeira, Cape Verde) and in France in the Bay of Biscay. It is widely naturalized elsewhere in the temperate world, including the United States. There is an endemic subspecies in the local flora of the Columbretes Islands of the western Mediterranean.

Here is some finished compost that I used during my planting session a few days ago.
Does anyone else compost their vegetable scraps and leaves/plants/sticks from their kitchen and yard?

Gardening is taking my mind off of the worries about the spread of this coronavirus.
Also it's a good time to pray and meditate on the positive things in life and
life when we move past this pandemic!
