I think I have told you that I live in a coastal area and the heat is a little strong but still we take advantage of the little land we have and we plant certain crops such as: Ocumo chino, banana, beans, we fertilize the soil using organic fertilizer which consists of mixing the shells of vegetables with soil, we are stirring every day with a shovel until it is completely black, once completely black we mix it with the soil and proceed to plant.

Hola comunidad de @HomeEddersen esta oportunidad quiero compartir con ustedes una actividad sobre la importancia del huerto o cultivar nuestros alimentos en casa.
Creo que les he comentado que vivo en una zona costera y el calor es un poco fuerte pero aún así aprovechamos el poco terreno que tenemos y sembramos ciertos cultivos tales como: Ocumo chino, plátano, frijol, abonamos la tierra utilizando abono orgánico el cual consiste en mezclar las conchas de los vegetales con tierra , la vamos removiendo cada día con una pala hasta que esté totalmente negra, una vez ya totalmente negra la mezclamos con la tierra y procedemos a sembrar.

Un aspecto importante de cultivar en casa es que tenemos los alimentos a la mano y debemos sembrarlos por cada siclo de cosecha , en esta oportunidad le hablé a mi pequeño sobre la importancia de una alimentación sana rica en vitaminas y minerales para el buen funcionamiento del organismo. Con esta actividad aparte de estudiar la importancia del huerto podemos conocer también las características de ciertos cultivos para que los niños vayan poco a poco comprendiendo que no solo es cultivar sino también aprovechar los beneficios que nos ofrece la naturaleza como es el sembrar y cosechar nuestros propios alimentos.
