## Tips for delegations

Delegating your Hive Power (HP) is very simple and there are many tutorials on how to do it. Throughout our journey as a project in Hive a very frequent mistake: the incorrect update of the delegations..

When you want to change the delegated amount, it is important to keep in mind one detail. If you want to increase the amount you have delegated, we must specify the total amount after the increase. For example, if you have already delegated 100 HP and you want to delegate 50 HP more, you must update the delegation to 150 HP, because otherwise you would be reducing the total amount of the delegation. 

The same thing happens when you want to decrease the delegated amount, if you currently have 100 HP delegated and you want to reduce it to 50 HP, then you must adjust the delegation to 50 HP. 

In short, the system does not add up the HP values, but updates the total amount of the delegation. For this reason it is always necessary to indicate the final amount you wish to delegate. For any additional questions, feel free to leave a comment.

>Delegar tu Hive Power (HP) es muy sencillo y existen muchos tutoriales de como hacerlo. A lo largo de nuestro recorrido como proyecto en Hive un error muy frecuente: la actualización incorrecta de las delegaciones.

>Cuando deseas cambiar el monto delegado, es importante tener en cuenta un detalle. Si deseas aumentar la cantidad que has delegado, debemos especificar el monto total después del aumento. Por ejemplo, si ya tienes delegado 100 HP y quieres de delegar 50 HP más, debes actualizar la delegación a 150 HP, porque de lo contrario estarías reduciendo la cantidad total de la delegación. 

>Lo mismo ocurre cuando deseas disminuir el monto delegado, si actualmente tienes delegado 100 HP y deseas reducirlo a 50 HP, entonces debes ajustar la delegación a 50 HP. 

>En resumen, el sistema no suma los valores de HP, sino que actualiza el monto total de la delegación. Por esta razón siempre des necesario indicar el monto final que deseas delegar. Para cualquier pregunta adicional, no dudes en dejar un comentario.
