Hi everyone. Hope you all are well.

This week's prompt is very interesting because I've been thinking about it lately, about digital minimalism of applications. Nowadays, social media applications are countless. You must have several types of social media applications, right? Me too. I follow several social media applications just for fun. However, there is also one social media application that I rarely use now but I don't want to uninstall it yet but I will definitely do it someday.

The application is TikTok. When it first appeared, this application received pros and cons from the public because it was considered not to have anything good. Almost all creators on TikTok only follow certain challenges and are far from educating. Although any social media is not required to have a role in educating good things. However, this application continues to grow, as do its creators. From just a dance challenge, through TikTok, small business owners can promote their products - slash selling. I am one of the TikTok users who has taken advantage of selling and has made a lot of money. But lately I decided to stop because my enthusiasm in selling has been sluggish. I want to live a slower life so I have long left Tiktok as a place to earn money through selling.

The business was very successful at first. I had earned a large additional income that could cover all my living expenses for a month. However, I started to lose time to write on Hive because I was busier with TikTok live, so in the end I decided to stop this business. By writing here, people would not know my actual activity, so when my performance was working—in my main job—they would not be able to find out the exact cause. So I decided to choose a side hustle that could be kept secret. My office friends had followed me on TikTok, so I became increasingly lazy to sell there. So here I am, choosing to write on HIVE.

So, when the question arises: Tell us if you've ever tried digital minimalism. Or does the thought of it make you nervous? We'd like to know what a simple, clutter-free digital life feels like for me, here's my answer…

In terms of minimizing my digital applications—I will delete social media applications that will take up my reading time. When I first decided to delete TikTok, I felt like something was missing. I still open the app occasionally, and now, as time goes by, I never open it anymore.
