**Gaming is one of the easiest way for Cryptos to reach mass adoption. Gamers are already sold on the idea of Digital Goods.**

New Gaming companies are being formed in the Blockchain Space on a daily basis. 

I just tried out EOS Knights, **add me "cryptolemon2" if you want 1000 free Magic water**. This is the most "achieved" game available right now but a new wave is coming. These new games will mostly be on EOS or ETH sidechains and will test the network robustness. 

**I believe EOS has a little edge over ETH for now but let the Blockchain Games fight begin !**

### Mythical Games Secures $16M of Funding

>Mythical Games, a new Los Angeles-headquartered game studio, announced on Friday that it has secured $16 million in a Series-A financing round. The funds will support the development and co-production of blockchain-powered games for mobile devices, PCs and consoles. The round was led by Galaxy Digital and included Okcoin, Javelin Venture Partners, Divergence Digital, Fenbushi and Noris.

Blankos Block Party is a multiplayer video game​ **on the EOS​ blockchain**​. It aims to recreate the concept of a virtual economy​ by adding cryptocurrency​ to the gaming experience.

The game was created Mythical Games in Los Angeles, California​ and is **scheduled to come out in 2019.**

**I think this could truly be a great game, it looks like a PUBG / Fortnite copycats with very personalized characters.**

**Also, we can see the professional game developpers working on previous big hits (WoW, CoD...) coming to the Blockchain space and seeing the opportunity.**

### Fuel Games Releases ‘Gods Unchained’ Trailer

>Fuel Games, another blockchain-powered game development company that was founded earlier this year, released an official gameplay trailer on Thursday for its upcoming title “Gods Unchained.” The startup raised $2.4 million in seed funding in May and is backed by Coinbase Ventures, Continue Capital, Sora Ventures and Nirvana Capital.

As I understood correctly, the game will run on top of ETH sidechains.

>“Gods Unchained” is a competitive collectible trading card game, like a cross between “Magic: The Gathering,” “Hearthstone” and “Crypto Kitties.” Fuel Games also announced on Thursday that it will begin rolling out a closed beta of the game “over the next week or two.”

**It could be a strong competitor to @Steemmonsters**. At least @Steemmonsters is already out and improving everyday ! **And it has the STEEM community behind which is one of the biggest (in numbers).**
