* **Oracle has released a suite of blockchain-based software-as-a-service** (SaaS) applications based on its Oracle Blockchain Cloud Service, reports Cointelegraph.

* The new products aim to **improve trace-ability and transparency throughout supply chains, and provide the ability to verify product authenticity, temperature-control, and reduce paper waste associated with shipments.**

* The launch follows trials with bank and government customers, and the products are built on the Hyperledger Fabric blockchain.
