The Dragon’s Head Tavern and Inn, Vorland, 1435 ATC

A man in an unusual red rubber suit holding a medium sized wooden box to him appeared out of a puff of thick red smoke behind the bar, letting out a yawn and looking around the tavern which was somewhat busy. ''Evening. Anyone need anything?'' He asked looking about, setting the box down and grabbing him a bottle of his usual cider. 

‘’Thorn has this handled!’’ A familiar pink haired demoness bartender said with a twitch. ‘’Where is VenVen’s dancer lover? Or his other lovers or the kids?’’

Venser shrugged as he began to stock the shelves behind the bar, and would have the check the barrels on tap later. ‘’She’s out for the night visiting her gypsy family, they’ve been here for a few weeks and they are getting ready to leave soon. And Juliette is liking the gypsies and Arielle… Dunno. Kids are with their mom and grandmother.’’

Downstairs, a mercenary captain entered the tavern, with her right hand glued to the hilt of her sword. The saber rattled against her side. Her ginger hair trailing behind her as she ventured through the tavern. “Clunk, Clunk..” Her boots hit the floor and her spurs jingled as she walked swiftly and finally settled herself on a seat at the bar, her hands cupped her chin in thought. Alexis raised her pale hand in greeting before addressing the bar maiden directly. Her voice was husky and deep; she wasn’t as feminine and ‘oh woe is me’ as other maidens who only wanted to be courted by their prince. Alexis just wanted a drink. “I’m looking for a wench or a man and a wee’ bit of ale.” She said whilst pointing toward one of the biggest mugs. Her right arm was permanently held against the side sky blue uniform in order to ensure no one saw the dark blood droplets splattered on her shirt. It was no one’s business. Briefly she took it off to adjust the black cape with dark blue inner lining over her seat as she settled. When she stood, the cape would reach just below her rear, a rather short yet somewhat elegant cape.

'’Welcome to the Dragon's Head Tavern and Inn!'' He called out his usual line, watching the woman with the auburn hair walk to the bar. ''A wench? A man?'' He looked back at the mug she pointed at and chuckled. ''Well, there's a wench. And a tavern wench...'' He said pointing to an unnamed woman from the local town, and then Thorn. ''Uhhh... I think it's just her. Lot of guys today.'' He grabbed the mug and filled it to the brim with the finest ale they had on the tap, passing it to her. ''Two silvers miss.''

Alexis glanced to where the lad had pointed, “Oh well..” She said trying to focus on the ditzyy pink haired wench carrying a tray of mugs. “Maybe not” Her dark brown eyes briefly scanned the lass in disgust. She turned back to the barkeep and gulped down a few sips of her ale, before sliding two polished coins from her pocket onto the table. “Keep em comin’, my good man” she lifted her glass in thanks.


The serpent eyed bartender blinked a few times and looked down to his outfit. He wore a red rubber suit with rubber nipples and an oversized codpiece with a red and black battleskirt, maroon leather boots, metal gauntlets, a shoulder pad, and a turquoise cape over his right shoulder lined with gold fabric. ''I always wear this. Either that or I go nude or put on some pants or a shirt… Boring… I have these nice tunics I’m not wearing..'' He took the mug back and refilled it, passing it back to the unnamed girl and swiping the coins away, tossing them into the coin jar. ''There ya go miss. Need anything else? Like food or a room?''

Not long after the red-haired female entered than another woman came in after her. Margot was clad in a soft leather jerkin and hunter green trousers wetted with a deep dark slick that stretched from over her chest, down her arms and over most of her torso. Bloody red fingerprints dotted her cheek, in startling contrast to her ivory coloured skin. She walked swiftly and purposefully up the stairs in pursuit of one person and one person only the red-haired bitch, Alexis. She had to pay. Stopping at the top of the stairs, Margot's gaze swept over the room until it stopped on the unmistakable figure of the red-haired female sitting at the bar. Closing her eyes, Margot clenched her fists at her side and took a deep shaking breath before approaching her. Stopping just a few paces back, she spoke in a low hostile tone, heterochromatic eyes flashing seething rage. "You." She said tightly, spitting with rage as her hand moved to grip the top of one of the daggers strapped to her thigh. "You did this."

''Uhhhh...'' Venser leaned against the bar and pulled the wooden box atop the bar close to him, looking to the woman that had entered and then to the red haired woman behind him. ''Whatever this is, take it outside. I had an angry mob in here earlier and I'd rather not have to do any cleaning up again.''

Rubber nipples. Hot. After the bearded barkeep mentioned his clothes, she raised a brow in pure amusement. “You must get a ton of ‘Tips’.’’ She muttered and grinned at her own joke, though she had a tiny feeling inside of her it was actually true. Unfortunately her ‘hilarious joke’ was rather inaudible as she slowly became aware of the current situation. “Maybe I’ll take that wenc-ch... Now” she stuttered as Margot’s scent filled the tavern. “For Fucksakes.” She hissed. Once Margot was in her vicinity and started bellowing, she tapped her fingers on her knee before turning around very slowly. In her head, this scène couldn’t get anymore dramatic.”I do this for a living.” She said getting up and unsheathing her sword slowly, and undoing her short cape and letting it fall back. “Sorry weird nipples,'' she whispered apologetically at the barkeep “So... Come at me then”, her hands motioned toward the girls petty dagger as she was busy unsheathing her polished saber. “If you want to run with the wolves, don’t piss like a puppy.’’ Alexis was calm, but seeing Margot turned her on more than anything. She could give less of a shit about whose blood now stained her uniform. Everyone in the tavern went quiet. Somewhat. They lowered their tones and continued to socialize a bit all while watching the scene play out.

Slowly tiring from her long walk she looked into her water skin, seeing it dry as a bone as usual caused a long sigh. Looking up she spotted a tavern along the path, gritting her teeth the centaur began to remember her last run ins with humans. An angry sounding growl from her stomach rose to settle her decision for her, sighing again she took one reluctant step after another toward the tavern. Opening the door she peered inside, before coming in fully. soft thuds from her hooves echoed around the room. Oh no stairs… She slowly tried her best to climb them. Looking to the people by the bar she folded her hands in front of her and smiled kindly. "Um, not to be a bother. But could I ask for some water? Oh!’’ She backed up a bit, blinking her strange, reddish blue eyes that looked like a chemical spill.

Venser appeared near the wall out of a puff of thick red smoke, dragging the couch downstairs with him as he watched the two women in anticipation. He had a bottle of cider in one hand and a bowl of kettle corn in the other. ''Punch her tits off!'' He called to the red haired woman, setting his concessions down. He clapped his hands twice and the shadow tendrils manifested themselves into two shadow versions of the head bartender himself. One held a broom and the other a mop. ''Huh? Water?'' Venser asked looking to the unusual looking creature. ''Oh! A centaur. Wow, it's been about... Four years since I've seen one in here. Welcome!'' He mentally facepalmed. ''Water! Uh, there's a horse trough by the stab-'' He cut himself off and disappeared in a puff of thick red smoke, reappearing behind the bar and grabbing a glass. ''One moment! Have a seat!'' He quickly froze and mentally facepalmed again, letting out a sigh. ''Take a seat...''

"You talk a big game for a backstabbing cunt," Margot spat acidly as her fingers wrapped around both daggers strapped to each of her thighs and drew them quickly, keeping a tight grip as she bent her knees and watched the woman with fiery eyes, each of them a different color, one blue, flashing pure hatred. Lifting her daggers before her, the blades pointed outward as she gripped them tightly in her fists and squared her shoulders. Rolling forward on the balls of her feet, Margot bent her head slightly as she watched Alexis' posture. "Fight me… And maybe you can die with the honor you lack, you scummy merc. And you call yourself a captain!"

Raising a brow she watched the stuttering man quietly as he puffed around the room. Folding her ivory arms across her chest she continued watching him in amusement, "Not used to my kind here I see? Eh puffy?" Chuckling she simply relaxed herself onto the floor out of the way of anyone, "I'm sorry for the trouble it's just been days since I have had water at all. I’ve wandered so far from home and I thank the stone gods I have not been killed yet." The centaur woman reached up and began to fiddle with her neon blue hair.


Venser teleported away from the bar and near the couch against the wall, walking over to the centaur with the glass of water extended to her. ''No problem here. Just those two fine ditties over there.'' He said gesturing to the two women who were yay close to mauling each other to death. ''I don't know about you, miss since you just got here but I haven't been excited to see a fight since... Hmm, Chippy Gee and Ana Lee.'' He brushed her off and chuckled. ''Uhh... Wrestling. Made those names up! Have you ever be- No no, I'm sure you haven't. What brings you here, miss'' He asked the centaur woman. He leaned in close and whispered, ''Between me and you my coin is on the red haired woman.''

Taking the glass from his outstretched hand the centaur woman nodded to him in thanks. Looking over to the two bickering women she raised a brow in confusion, "You are quite right, it's been awhile since I have seen such a tiff. Not as bad as the one I saw last though, I swear you could not even recognize my brother when he was done with his fight. Kicked, stomped and mauled as he was..." Shrugging she raised the glass and took generous gulps of it, quickly finishing off every drop of water in the glass. "To answer your question, I have simply been walking to see where the road leads. Ran out of water and came here in hope to get some." Setting the glass down carefully on the floor beside her she sighed in relief, her throat no longer feeling dry as a desert.

Alexis glanced back to her ale and then to Margot. It was a really hard decision. “Right.” she nodded, and leaned back on her seat, whilst crossing her arms. Her curved cavalry saber lingered against her barstool. Suddenly she felt the cold sink into her boots and glanced at the man offering them employment. “If you want a wench” she pointed to Thorn, who smiled and waved. “All yours”. Why would a stranger take the opportunity to ask for sex during their fight? Strange things have been happening since she saw the bartender with the rubber nipples. Maybe Alexis would ask him for sex. Her eyes narrowed on Margot. “Now, I’m stuck against the god damn, motherless floor besides that, I have mead over here. The option of moving toward your stupid ass isn’t really viable.”

‘'Do you need a canteen or two? A belt? We sell those here. Well, at least I do. I used to sell lust serum and grey amber before Roselie threatened me with my job.'' Venser said crossing his arms, watching the centaur set her drink down on the floor. ''We have tables ya know, come, join me.'' He walked back over to the couch against the wall and pulled up a table next to him.

No sooner had the words left her mouth than Margot felt the chill permeate the thick leather soles of her boots and hold her to the floor. "Ah, hell..." She muttered to herself as she pulled uselessly against the force binding her to the floor. Her skin prickled with rage as she heard the other woman speak. "Well, really now? Well aren't you a genuis; I certainly hadn't fucking noticed that." She snapped sarcastically as her hands, still gripping her twin daggers, lowered a fraction. Looking back at the man that had them stuck to the floor, she glared at him and pulled futilely at the force holding her again, her expression a mixture of exasperation and rage she practically trembled. She couldn't let the bitch get away with this and this bearded man was making it impossible for her to exact her toll.

Letting out a chuckle the blue haired centaur woman shook her head in response. "No, I don't need any thank you though." Getting up carefully as possible she picked her up her glass while standing up, walking to the table he had pulled over she set the glass onto it. Settling herself back onto the floor again she folded her legs more comfortably beneath her. "Thank you, I didn't want to possibly break one of the tables by accident..." Giving Venser a sheepish smile she pointed to the glass which now had tiny cracks here and there. "I'm sorry about that, even if I try to be very gentle I can unintentionally break things… This is why I don’t go outside my land.’’

He chuckled and said, shoving a handful of kettle corn into his mouth, offering the centaur the bowl. ''Setting a glass of water down on a table don't break it. No matter how strong you are.'' His attention was quickly turned by him misunderstanding what kind of job the man was offering the two women. ''Ooh! I'm interested in sex right now!'' He yelled raising his free hand. He turned his head to the two women.

The centaur woman’s eyebrows raised at the man's declaration to the others, shrugging. ‘’What an interesting scene this is."

Alexis tried freeing herself by subtly pouring the warm mead into her heavy boots. It was futile “If you can stop me dead in my tracks, why can’t you do the work yourself” she said spitting on the floor. “If I wanted your money, I’d kill you.” She hissed. Alexis didn’t quite enjoy being forced into a situation. “Margot-t” she said, her voice cracking “I killed that slimy fucking brother of yours, a horrible frail man, after I saw you two fucking in that filthy shed by the river.” She turned to both of the men, her frustration visible as she tried to kick the gold satchel towards them. “ Weird Nipples, help me. Out of this predicament and we can fuck like rabbits.’’

''Right away!'' He handed the centaur woman his bowl of kettle corn and hopped off the couch, teleporting over to the red haired woman, standing between them with both arms extended out, taking Alexis’s side. ‘’Let’s talk about this. She can’t undo what she saw, and you can’t undo what… Yeah.’’

"Step-brother," Margot corrected tersely, baring her teeth as she struggled against the bind again, glaring alternately between the gold on the floor and Alexis as she continued, her struggle evident in her tight tone. "And it's not as if I had a choice, he would do what he wanted, bastard he always did..." Her voice trailed off as the bartender in the strange outfit stepped between them and she leaned to the side to glare through him almost. "You know that just as well as I do, Alexis, maybe even better."

Noticing her glass still lying on the table she stood, picking up the glass she walked over to the bar setting on the counter to be taken away when someone wished to. Heading back to her spot the centaur woman settled herself back onto the floor, picking up the abandoned bowl of kettle corn she popped a few pieces in her mouth while quietly observing the room. So many interesting people in one place today…

Alexis watched the strange man in the rubbery material immediately take control of the situation. “Dammit.” She uttered, she didn’t really take cognizance of the fact, that he might actually take her offer seriously. Alexis only started realizing she was free to move at this late point and started undoing the top buttons of her blouse immediately. She motioned the barkeep to keep smoothing the situation over. Alex put her ankle of the sack of silver coins, just to ensure the wench wouldn’t attempt to steal it. “If you didn’t have a choice, then why are you angry that I forced my blade through his disgusting frame… Over-r and over an-nd over again-’n.’’

"That wasn't your choice to make! He was my brother! That was my revenge and you stole it!" Margot's heterochromatic eyes shined brightly with the shimmer of angry tears as her entire body trembled with pent up emotion. No matter what her pathetic excuse for a brother had done when he was alive, he was still family and he was hers to kill, no one had any right to take that away from her. "You have always thought you could do better than me, haven't you? Do you think I need your protection, Alexis? That I can't fight my own battles?" She hissed angrily as she moved back a half-step, tightening her grip on her daggers as she raises them once more watching for any sudden movements as she stayed at a more fortuitous angle.

The man blocking Alexis shrugged his shoulders. ''Despite what happened in the past... You're free to part ways. Wander alone and truly fight your own battles.'' He glanced back at the woman he was defending.

Alexis took off her blouse, the soft material slipping off her scarred skin. The pink flesh lines from her healed wounds ran all over her pale white skin. She wore a flimsy shirt underneath her blouse, the material hardly covered her chest. Her nipples were erect and visible through the thin fabric. She quickly slid her curved cavalry saber back into its sheath. Before gulping down the rest of the ale. “Margot, I CAN do better than you. I killed him because I could, kill me or leave”. She cracked her neck from side to side, “He seduced a noble man’s daughter, I got paid. And I would do it again. All that matters.’’ At this point, Alexis was calm.

Watching her disrobe, a soft pink flush spread over Margot's cheeks. Is this seriously necessary? She thought to herself, shaking her head after a moment to collect herself. The self-aggrandising cunt wouldn't distract her. Rolling her shoulders, she bounced ever so slightly on the balls of her feet before she hissed low in response to Alex's words, her heartbeat thundered in her ears. Margot's passion had always been her greatest boon and her biggest bane. Without another word, Margot gave a low almost inaudible growl as she lunged forward, moving toward the redheaded woman; spinning her long gnarled dagger in her hand so the blade pointed straight out as she aimed for a right hook into the woman's side, between her ribs. With her other hand, she kept her other fist gripped tightly around the hilt as she held it up toward her face.

''Oh... Nice...'' Venser said licking his lips at the sight of Alexis disrobing. He turned back to the woman as she growled, the mark on the back of his left hand glowed greenish white and emitted steam incase she tried anything. And she did. ''Ah!'' He yelped and moved back as the dagger came at him, throwing out his left hand at her. Suddenly, the dagger was trapped in an eerie, glowing green aura same as his mark as it hovered slowly towards Venser, where he caught it. ‘’Throwing knives. Cool, but impractical. A waste of perfectly good metal, and you just gave me your weapon.’’

Blinking rapidly when the green light made contact with her body, her breath was knocked out as she was forced back another half step. Growling in frustration, Margot seethed with irritation as she got more and more frustrated. "You can't even fight me by yourself. You have to hide behind our friendly bartender!" she hissed as she rolled her shoulders again, not willing to give up yet.

''Ladies, ladies.'' Venser waved his hands, his mark stopped glowing and the steam quickly dissipated. ''I think just sitting down and having a lot of wine will be better than this little... Cat fight that clearly isn't going anywhere. Sound good?''

Alexis cocked her head to the side watching the fiasco. She glanced to the man in the rubber outfit, whilst standing on one leg, stumbling by taking off one of her boots. “Where the rooms in this joint at?” She raised a brow before glancing at Margot and shaking her head. “We can talk tomorrow.”

''Well miss, I'd have to check the room cards before I rent a room out to you.'' Venser said brushing back his messy black hair, stepping out from between them to focus on Alexis. ''But you can stay in my room if you'd like for no charge...'' He said with a low, seductive growl.

Shaking her head, Margot shook her head in disgust as she dropped her hands to her side; this was obviously not going anywhere and it was pointless. Sheathing her daggers, Margot stepped backward. "Yeah, whatever," she said bitterly. "I see you've still not changed, Alexis. Still the same whore I knew before." She said, giving her head a jerk in the direction of the man. "Maybe he can give you another job."

The redheaded captain kicked the sack of silver up towards her and caught it in her left hand, whilst carrying her shoes and blouse in her right. “Let’s go sunshine..” She gestured toward what seemed to be the bedrooms. “I keep my word”. Margot’s words rang in her ears. “ At least I ain’t fucking my own brother.” She hissed as she walked towards a corridor in the big tavern, her belt dropped to the floor as she disappeared into the darkness, hoping Weird Nipples was smart enough to follow her.

Venser watched Alexis walk away and he turned to Margot, nodding his head and offering her back the dagger he caught. Before dropping it to the ground with a clatter. ''Well...'' He gestured behind him. ''I wish you a good night. And so sorry for what happened tonight.'' And with that, he disappeared in a puff of thick red smoke, reappearing in the middle of the hall, following Alexis from behind.

‘’What. The. Fuck?!”’

The centaur woman shrugged, happily eating kettle corn with the pink haired barmaid. ‘’Thatttttt’s VenVen! Thorn is happy no one got stabbed or killed until they were dead.’’

Margot gave a frustrated sigh, threw her arms up, and headed down the stairs to the exit.
