Hey Steemians, 
It's been a good month or two since I have written a post about something I care about. Well now is the time to do just that. I want to bring to your attention a new mathematical algorithm and technology called Hashgraph. What it boils down to in computer talk is "gossip about gossip." The amazing thing is that full consensus can be reached with this algorithm, as opposed to the block chain, without storing the entire set of previous data. Therefore, the block chain has become outdated because it must keep a record of all transactions ever before ... and that requires storage and electrical wattage. 
Hashgraph accomplishes the same problem block chain was seeking to rectify. Now we can reach full agreement about a transaction or event in seconds ... and then discard the data. I will leave the rest for you to investigate.
