Have a look at Ethereum's market cap. That is a significant increase, but what does it mean?

Well, there's bound to be many factors for why this is happening. One we know  is that BIP148, a bone of contention to many in the crypto community, is on the horizon.  With a lot of people moving capital into Ethereum as the logical next best choice to Bitcoin we should expect to see a marked increase in Ethereum value.

As an aside, I advise that you have your bitcoins securely stored in a private wallet and not in an exchange on the run up to August 1st. For the details to why this is, I encourage readers to join in a discussion below as it is quite a complicated issue.

Today's trade idea: 

As more capital shifts into Ethereum daily, look for new all time highs to be printing on a regular basis. This will likely culminate in a large recursion after BIP148 resolves itself and Bitcoin reenters the exchange markets.
