I lost $70,000 by ruthless spending on games the past year. I'm 24 years old, and I made a bunch of money and had nothing better to do with it since I surpassed my goal. Although I kind of regret of how much I spent, it made me think of, what if, I played a game where I can also make money. Even though I spent money in the other games, I at least optimized it by getting stronger with it. 

With that mindset, I saw a random article on Robinhood about Axie Infinity. So, I basically jumped on it. It was definitely a learning curve on how to buy the axies, and it took me about maybe 14 days because I used Binance at first to transfer my funds. During that time, I researched who consistently gets in the top 100 all the time in the other seasons. I found a person name Gabz and basically I copied her team and also bought her axies. She became the latest person to be first in a season. In that same season, I played for 7 days before it was over, I had basically the same team, and I made it in the top 300 which gave me the bonus rewards for the season ending. So, basically, in all, I made about 1,000 back in just playing after a week. Later, I breed more of my axies and got more of them. I decided to make a team of Philippines to play the game and do a 60/40 split. The past 2 months it generated me about 1,500 a month. This month looks more like it will be 700 because of the price of the crypto going down. I think it's still a good price since I only have spent about at most 15,000 in it.

Through this process too, they launched a staking system for their coin, and it has been giving me at least $35 a day on it and I have spent about 10,000 on it too. I am about to put 20,000 more in it so I can get about 100 a day. It is suppose to give less overtime, but it has been stuck around 111% APR the past month or 2. In the beginning, it gave a lot more, but it looks like this range is consistent. Although the amount of people playing looks like it may be decreasing, they are developing their land portion of the game which would allow burning more of their coins and other coins. With this launch, I expect it to go up more again, so I am going to double down a little on it as my side project. Especially since it would compound more the more I have there.

With all this happening, I now also attend crypto events and mixer and learned how to mint NFTs and understand all the ways they are used for. I might make a NFT game for fun, who knows. Did you know, there are 6 different categories of NFTs? Can you guess what they are?
