Hi everyone, Welcome to my post regarding the "SHARE YOUR BATTLE" Challenge. For this week's challenge, I'll be sharing my battles using Ilthain (as I said in last week's challenge post). But this time my opponent is not Yodin Zaku anymore, but General Sloan.. And before going to the main discussion......... The ruleset for this time is [*EQUALIZER*](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-equalizer-ruleset) with 20 mana. *EQUALIZER* is a situation where The initial Health of all Monsters is equal to that of the Monster on either team with the highest base Health. ### My Line-Up |Cards|Ability|Reason| |-|-|-| |https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/rift/Ilthain_lv2.png|give additional 1 SPEED to All Allies

Give [Return Fire](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-return-fire-ability) Ability to All Allies|Since the only Splinter available was [Life Splinter](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-life-splinter), it was very likely that the opponent would use ***General Sloan*** (although there was another possibility, which was that the opponent would use ***Mother Khala***). And because of that, I decided to use ***Ilthain*** which has *RETURN FIRE* to counter the opponent's Ranged monster attacks.| |https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/chaos/Chaos%20Agent_lv1.png|None (Lv1)|I chose ***Chaos Agent*** to fill the first position because there was a possibility that the opponent would get a turn to attack first. Even though I got the SPEED boost from ***Ilthain***, there is a possibility that the opponent brought ***Time Mage*** which has the [SLOW](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-slow-ability) ability.| |https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/chaos/Chaos%20Knight_lv1.png|[Shield](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-shield-ability) (Lv1)|If the ***Chaos Agent*** is defeated, the ***Chaos Knight*** will take his place to withstand the attacks of the opposing Ranged Monster.| |https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/chaos/Scavo%20Hireling_lv1.png|[Repair](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-repair-ability) (Lv1)|I chose to use ***Scavo Hireling*** to repair the ARMOR of ***Chaos Knight*** that was lost due to withstanding attacks from Melee and Ranged monsters.| |https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/promo/Halfling%20Alchemist_lv2.png|[Halving](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-halving-ability) (Lv1)|***Halfing Alchemist*** is needed to make the Attack points of the opponent's monster (Melee or Magic) become half. And this is necessary so that ***Chaos Knight*** can survive longer.| |https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/reward/Venari%20Crystalsmith_lv2_gold.png|[Tank Heal](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-tank-heal-ability) (Lv1)|Of course, the main purpose of ***Venari Crystalsmith*** is to heal the Health points of ***Chaos Knight*** that are reduced due to attacks from the opponent's Magic Monster that directly targets Health points rather than ARMOR first.| ### BATTLE START !!! As I predicted, the opponent is using ***General Sloan*** as his Summoner of choice over ***Mother Khala***. Brought 2 Ranged monsters and ***Time Mage*** to the Battle Arena. After all abilities are applied..... ***General Sloan***'s ability gives an additional 1 attack point to all of the opponent's Ranged monsters. Additional abilities from monsters in the form of reducing 1 SPEED to all of my monsters given by ***Time Mage***. ***Ilthain***'s ability gives an additional 1 SPEED and *RETURN FIRE* ability to all of my monsters. There are no additional abilities from my monsters. In the first round, ***Time Mage*** who has the highest SPEED attacked my ***Chaos Agent*** first. However, it was successfully cured by ***Venari Crystalsmith***. Now it's my two Ranged monsters' turn (***Venari Crystalsmith** and **Halfling Alchemist***) to attack ***Gargoya Scrapper***. Even though ***Gargoya Scrapper*** was affected by the *HALVING*, it didn't change his attack point, which had only 1 point from the start. After that, it was ***Placcor Arbalest***'s turn to attack my ***Chaos Agent***. Even though he managed to beat him with *Double attack*, ***Pelaccor Arbalest*** was hit by counterattack (*RETURN FIRE*) twice so ***Pelaccor Arbalest*** also fell. ***Gargoya Scrapper*** attacks ***Chaos Knight*** but his attacks have no effect due to *SHIELD*. After that, it was ***Chaos Knight***'s turn to attack ***Gargoya Scrapper*** and managed to defeat him. The last attack comes from ***Xenith Archer***, he attacks ***Chaos Knight*** and gets counterattacked (*RETURN FIRE*) ***Vulguine*** got an additional 3 Health points because there were 3 monsters that fell in the first round this time. In the second round, ***Time Mage*** attacked first. And now, she attacked ***Chaos Knight***, although in the end he was healed again by ***Venari Crystalsmith***. ARMOR of ***Chaos Knight*** repaired by ***Scavo hireling***. Then my other 3 monsters (***Venari Crystalsmith**, **Halfling Alchemist**, and **Chaos Knight***) attacked and defeated the opponent's ***Chaos Agent***. The last attack comes from ***Xenith Archer***, he attacks ***Chaos Knight*** and gets counterattacked (*RETURN FIRE*) ***Vulguine*** got an additional 1 Health points because there were 1 monster that fell in this second round. The attack patterns in the third and fourth rounds are the same as the previous rounds, where ***Time Mage*** attacked ***Chaos Knight*** but was successfully healed by ***Venari Crystalsmith***. ***Vulguine** and **Xenith Archer*** were only defeated in the fourth round. ***Vulguine*** was defeated by attacks from 3 of my monsters (***Venari Crystalsmith**, **Halfling Alchemist**, and **Chaos Knight***). Meanwhile ***Xenith Archer*** was defeated thanks to the counterattack (*RETURN FIRE*) that he received after attacking ***Chaos Knight*** To see the entire battle, you can watch it at >> [**FULL BATTLE LINK**](https://splinterlands.com?p=battle&id=sl_d503c183ef96e21c642230abfcaa506f&ref=vrezyy) And this is the challenge link >> [**CHALLENGE LINK**](https://peakd.com/hive-13323/@splinterlands/share-your-battle-weekly-challenge-moltenashgolem) ### STRATEGY (*Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?*) Luckily this time my strategy worked very well. Maybe this is inseparable from the *EQUALIZER* Ruleset which makes the Health points of all monsters the same. So only with ***Chaos Agent***, I managed to get rid of ***Pelaccor Arbalest*** who is known to be quite troublesome when his *Double attack* manages to hit my monster. For the next strategy, maybe I will exchange ***Halfling Alchemist*** with ***Dax Paragon*** who has *AMPLIFY* ability at level 2. The reason is because *AMPLIFY* can strengthen counterattacks like *THORN / RETURN FIRE / MAGIC REFLECT*. And if I brought ***Dax Paragon*** instead of ***Halfling Alchemist***, maybe I could beat ***Xenith Archer*** with *RETURN FIRE* on second round. ### *Do you like Iltain?* Of course I like her. Since it was first released, ***Iltrain*** is the epic Summoner that I want to try out of the other six Epic Summoners from the RIFTWATCHER edition. He is a mini version of ***Lir Deepswimmer*** who both have the *RETURN FIRE* ability. Even though it is not equipped with additional ARMOR or *BLIND* abilities, just with the "additional 1 SPEED" it is able to make attacks from several Life Splinters succeed in hitting opposing monsters that have high SPEED. That was the post **SHARE YOUR BATTLE CHALLENGE** for this time. Thank you for visiting and taking the time to read. See you in the next post....
 Thanks to: - @splinterlands - @thepeakstudio for Dividers
