Zur Schule ging ich gerne.
Dort war es besser als zuhause obwohl die Lehrer aus dem Mittelalter stammten. Die haben es geliebt Schüler zu verprügeln, 500 mal aufschreiben "ich bin zu dumm um zu lernen" gehörte auch dazu genau wie die ganze Schule putzen. 
Nette Lehrer wurden entlassen.

Solche lehrer vergisst man nicht.
Diskriminierung war auch ganz normal. Das Wort gab es damals nicht. Als Mädchen brauchte man nichts zu lernen, verheiratet sein, kochen und gehorsamkeit war nur gefragt. Meine Eltern war eine andere Meinung zugetan (meine Mutter arbeitete und hatte eine Praxis damit mein Vater studieren konnte.). Ich glaube nicht, dass der Lehrer meinen Vater mochte. Als er zur Schule kam, war das kein gutes Zeichen. Er war davon überzeucht, dass seine Töchter keine blöde Kühe waren und in der Lage zu studieren.

Und das und noch viel mehr habe ich gemacht. Auch als ich arbeitete und Mutter war. Jetzt ist es aber Schluss. Ganz ehrlich glaube ich nicht, dass das viele studieren, die Ausbildungen mir weitergeholfen haben, die Zeit hat sich geändert. Jetzt gibt es internet, gute Noten sind nicht länger gefragt und einen Job kann man auf der ganzen Welt suchen und finden..

I liked visiting school.
It was better as at home, even though the teachers came from straight out of the Middle Ages. They loved to beat up students, let them write down 500 times "I'm too stupid to learn" and let them clean the whole school.
Nice teachers were dismissed.

You do not forget such teachers easily.
Discrimination was quite normal.  The word did not exist in these days. As a girl, you did not need to learn anything, being married, cook and obedience were the only skills you needed. 

My parents had a different opinion (my mother worked and had a practice and provided us and my father his study.).  
I doubt the teacher liked my father. Those rare occasions he showed up at school... it was not a good sign. My father was convinced that his daughters were **not** stupid cows and able to study.

And that,studying, and much more I have done for the biggest part of my life. No matter how many jobs I had, the long hours and the fact I was a single mother. These days are over.  

To be honest, I don't believe all those studies, training helped me, times has changed. These days we have internet, good grades are no longer needed and you can search and find a job all over the world.
