_After spending hours yesterday looking for what causes the bumps in my legs during the night, the final conclusion is that all that hard work was for nothing._ 

**I removed and even lifted the bed**, vacuumed the bottom, checked the mattresses, and vacuumed and steamed everything. 
The bed also had to undergo a steam treatment, just like the duvet. The blankets and sheets have gone into the deep freezer, there is plenty of room. I had just removed the pillows. I even vacuumed and steamed the walls and floor, just like my Snorlax, the crocodile, my lucky doll, bathrobe, winter coat and the pants on my body. A hell of a job but it would all have been worth it _if_ I had gotten out of bed this morning without any new lumps. 
Unfortunately, nothing could be further from the truth. My left calf has 3 more itchy bumps. Everything I did has had _no effect_. Maybe it's not a bed bug but something inside me that's causing this? 
I suddenly remember how, as a child, I could be covered in bumps from one moment to the next. Back then it was most likely caused by stress. Maybe I'm experiencing my second childhood this time on my left leg.

The video above is very interesting and informative. I enjoyed watching it. Bedbugs are interesting creatures. I wonder why they can do 300 days without food (blood), what's the point of this survival tactic if their food supply is endless?
