Here's an interesting story I thought I would share with everyone. In a nut shell this story tells you that investments in the S&P 500 and Nasdaq have sucked over the last 17 years and if you were unfortunate to get into the market during those 17 years inflation, tech and housing bubbles have basically kicked your ass.

I have to agree because I started buying stocks in 2003 and made some pretty good returns until the 2008 crash and I have not recovered my losses from that. Most of my investments were in energy stocks and I still have quite a bit in energy. So it's been painful to watch oil prices go no where these last several years.

I think this is one of the reasons cryptos have been doing so well over the last couple of years is because people are sick of getting shit on by the big banks and countries propping up markets. Instead of people investing in safe assets they are going to the more riskier ones that have better returns because they know the market won't go down. With cryptos you get those big moves up and down that create buying and selling opportunities for the little guy and you don't have to wait 5 or 10 years for the next buying opportunity you could have multiples in a matter a few months.
