When you are in Arnhem, you can find this piece of art on the side the apartments located at the Lobeliastraat / Huissensestraat. It was donated by the Arnhem Museum to the city of Arnhem for the museum's 100th anniversary back in March 2022. 

# The Artwork: Henk Mual: self portrait
Pictured on the roadside of the apartments is the self portrait (1957) of Henk Mual, which can be viewed in the Arnhem Museum. 

Henk Mual was born on Java in 1932 and moved to the Netherlands when he was 20. Here started at the Art Academy in Arnhem and completed this in 1957.  The place where the artwork is located, is where a lot of Mollucan people came to live back in the 1950-1960, in the Arnhem sub-urb Malburgen.

# The Artists
The mural is done by streetart collective "De Strakke Hand". They have done several other pieces around Arnhem for the Museum.
