We’ll sit right here on our barbarous relic

   Good Tuesday Morning Folks,

We have a second day rally occurring right now before 5 am pst with Gold at $1,305.60 up $3.70 with the high at $1,306.90 and a low of $1,300.60 so far. Silver is just tagging along with its trade at $15.24, up 2.4 cents with the high at $15.27 and the low at $15.18. The US Dollar’s trade stands at 96.53, losing .12 points from yesterdays close with the high up at 96.70 and the low at 96.48. Venezuela may not have running water or electricity in their bank facilities, but that’s not stopping the value of physical precious metals from rising with Gold’s new price at 13,039.68 Bolivar, gaining 35.95 overnight with Silver now at 152.210 gaining the perfect score of .999 Bolivar in added value, all this happening before the Comex Open.

April Silver’s Delivery demands fell hard during yesterday’s trading period with the count now at 15 demands for physical proving a drop of 60 obligations and with Zero Volume so far this morning. I’m now wondering what price the April delivery trade was settled out at since I saw no trades posted at all in this month’s column between Friday and Monday. Then we have the total count for all Silver’s trades and they continue to expose the single short seller as the count climbs to 206,845 Overnighters adding another 1,948 shorts in order to stay the price.

Venezuela’s banking crisis now has a natural resource shortage as we are witnessing the bankers unable to do their jobs without electricity or running water taking away transfers of money electronically adding more impetus to our understandings of having one’s wealth in their own hands and away from the system under threat. This article focuses mostly on the human aspect inside the offices, but consider the affects a credit card purchase or a written check will have to go thru within a computerized system that demands electricity and a running network in order to work. This is the crisis we've warned about, fund transfers are being stymied inside this closed loop system. All the way thru the system. Can we call it the starting point of a Monetary Lock Up or do we wait for more proof first?

Italy’s Matteo Salvini is taking on the EU after challenging the rights of Au ownership on Monday, the Italian president organized a group of conservative nations within the failing Union, and they are demanding the right to divorce the Gold Diggers after they drained the pockets leaving the nation’s tax payers with the bills. “The group hopes to attract other Right-wing “patriotic” parties in the weeks leading up to the elections on May 26.” One would hope these conservative nations have locked up their precious metals away from their local gold diggers in $40k pant suites ahead of these articles, but that’s the way the game is played in media.

We’ll sit right here on our barbarous relic, as the emerging markets and the failings within a major currency, continue to support the reasons we hold precious metals in hand and out of the Gold Diggers reach. Checking accounts and money transfers are starting to fail, what happens next? Stay Tooned! Keep a smile on your face, a positive attitude in your head no matter what, and as always …

Stay Strong!
