What makes #steemit so incredible?? Quite simply it's the generosity of total strangers, all brought together by the wonderful platform.

This post is a way to say **THANK YOU** to a total stranger.

Where to start?

I wrote a blog a yesterday, telling everyone about my excitement for the new releases in the #mene24k range.

In the comment section i received a reply from a young man telling me that he had credit he could not use because Mene do not ship to his country. Let me just say that #mene are definitely missing out on the Indian Market by not shipping there.

Now, I'd like to think I can spot a scam from a mile away but like any true stacker, the thought of FREE GOLD was too good to pass up, so we started to chat on discord. 

At first I was a bit wary and didn't want to give away too much info as it's always best to be cautious at first. 

After chatting for a while, I had the feeling that he was being honest and genuine. 

Although free gold is free gold, to me the credit was his and so any reward should rightly belong and go to him

To my disbelief, @mnishh still wished to gift the charm to me. 

The choices were either the "evil eye" or "hex bolt" charms

Well to cut a long story short, I talked him through the checkout procedure and how to find his mene credits.

He entered his first code and got $85 off then he went to put in his $100 code for being a member for a month.

Unfortunately we were too late and the $100 credits had expired yesterday.

He was incredible apologetic and sorry for waiting my time..... 

The truth is, yes the gold charm would have been great, but the fact that a total stranger wished to gift me the gold because he couldn't have it delivered to him has renewed my faith in humanity. 

There are still some amazing steemians out there and without this platform we wouldn't have met 99% of the fine ladies and gentlemen we interact with on a now daily basis.

@mnishh what you showed today, won't be forgotten and although it was unsuccessful your desire to try and help a stranger out speaks volume to your own character. You're the man 👍
