Yep... That handsome gentleman, that looks like he's been hit across the face with a shovel, after being run over by a hurd of wildebeest, is me. 

So now you're asking yourself - **why am I holding a #mene box in my mouth?** Well, for me, it all started 7months ago with this [BLOG](https://steemit.com/steem/@welshstacker/the-lucky-mene-box-effect-is-real-steemmonsters-end-if-season-reward-cards/). In it I use the "Lucky Mene Box Effect" (LMBE) to help me collect more *GOLD Foil* @splinterlands cards when completing my Daily quests, opening untamed booster packs and essence orbs.

Now some of you will believe in the luck of Mene and some of you might not. I suppose the onky way to make a believer out of you would be by allowing me to show you the results...

So as you can see, the LMBE could quite possibly, be real!! I mean, surely one person just can't be **THAT LUCKY**?? What I haven't showed here are the other cards I've received, such as all the legendary cards. All I've shown today is the GF card, I believe, the LMBE has helped my gain. 

**So what are the other benefits to buying #mene?**

If they say a picture paints a thousand words, then this one paints 1838+ of them. You see not only does #mene24k bring you luck when playing @steemmonsters / @splinterlands but is a very smart way to invest in **GOLD**. Since I started my modest Mene Charm collection, my returns on my gold investment has just past 40% ROI..... That's a 40% return on my initial investment in a little over 2yrs, plus Mrs Welshstacker has had the pleasure of wearing them. My platinum isnt doing as well as my gold purchases, but I am expecting to see a correction in the platinum markets very soon.
